Thank you VERY much for your review. I just got the Voyager 26" a couple months ago and have only used it on a road trip and love it. I'm doing a cruise and train vacation to Europe this Fall and have been on the fence as to whether to take this or my Farpoint Backpack because I'm concerned about the rough sidewalks/streets. I'm 71 and you've convinced me that my YELLOW BOY is the way to go! Thanks again!!

Excellent video ... Thank you! I was about to buy a set from Monos and wanted a medium sized suitcase. I was concerned about just well the Voyageur would hold up going through the baggage handling process at airport and your review helped me to select Level 8 over Monos. I have ordered the 26" for my trip to Canada in a few months and my cruise next spring. Again, Thank You for this review . . . I thought it was the most thorough real-world review out there on KZbin!

Maybe on a low setting. Power washes I've seen can cut through a lot haha. I don't think you'll need to power wash this thing though

real world review, this is awesome! Just curious though, are the main zippers of the luggage double-coiled? If it's single-coiled, should i be concerned of how it will be burst resistant?

This is single coiled but haven't had any issues with bursting even with overpacking. Double coiled is more rare as of now, it's not even standard on tumi or away...I think Samsonite is the only one I've seen have double coiled in their lines

Lol well over the limits it can hold 93L. Just depends what you can hold in that volume. I've put near 100 lbs in there

Won't be as solid as an aluminum case but its been holding well for me.

Would you still recommend the 26” or 28”? I have a 26” Monos and I felt it was too small. Or maybe there is a lot of wasted space. I have a family of four so I like to put all of our things in there but don’t want to pay for the over-the-limit fee, lol.

Hard balance to strike for sure. The 26" will keep you under the limits for domestic travel which is why I chose it and it worked well for my two weeks in spain but I could have definitely fit more than 48lbs I packed. however the 28" will just make it easier to pack things esp if you're thinking of gifts and souvinerrs, but it is heavier by .6lbs. Not a ton of extra weight so might be good for your use case. lol and if you want to go crazy they just made a new 30 incher as well but that boy weights almost 20 lbs alone. keep in mind international you can do up to 70 lbs on most airlines.

I'm all for packing cube life.. not only packs things tighter, but it makes it easier to organize things. Was a life saver for separating different parts of my trip and works out well to separate dirty clothes from clean clothes as the trip goes on. On my latest trip to Mexico, I had cubes separating wedding attire, beach/ tourist attire and bachelor party attire. The cubes helped me manage a whole month of events.

It seems like the wheels performance is outstanding with more weight on it. I sometimes carry heavy equipment in a luggage and the wheel get stuck and don’t ride as smooth with excessive weight on it. What’s your take on that with you having it already has the performance diminished?

Seems to have held up on my end .. lol I'm like 200 lbs and I was riding it like a scooter between terminals and it still seems smooth. I don't think you should have issues with the wheels and weight.

49lbs before and 58 lbs after...luckily we got upgraded to first so I didn't incur fees. However, I had room to store even more if I needed to.
