Ion grenades were hand grenades that disrupted electronics similar to EMP grenades. Got that off the Star Wars wiki. I guess you're both right. Like so he sees. :)

A ion grenade is the replacement of a emp grenade. While a EMP emits a Electro-Magnetic Pulse, a ion grenade is a grenade that shoots out groups of atoms with a electrical charge.

Ions are atoms with a positive or negative charge due to not having an equal number of protons and electrons, so an ion grenade, in the literal sense, would be a grenade that releases a ton of charged particles. An EMP, or electromagnetic pulse, is a burst of electromagnetic energy, in the context of battlefront it is probably the release of electromagnetic radiation.

Me and my friends played at least 30 matches of walker assault alone for each day it was up. And with all of the game modes and the 5 expansions that they are going to release for DLC I don't see people having any trouble getting back into the game.

Roman Williams It's a while but it's not that much. Yeah i played the beta, i played for like 8 hours the first day and i didn't like it, couldn't even bring myself to play it after that. I thought the game mechanics were horrific for one thing, but mainly i just didn't find it fun to play. Even if it was good with all the DLC, it wouldn't kill battlefield, it's a completely different experience and people will always return to battlefield when they're bored of it, even if they switch between both games.

+Patrik Ortstam Wider field of view with no impact on aim. Playing in 3rd person does give you an advantage, but you can play fine either way. But in the case of these guys they are definitely doing it for the advantages it brings.
