@@absolutebonkers9735 going prone is not a noob move it need more skill to go prone. The only advantage of going prone is enemy can barely see you but if he did you can barely react to his attack. First of all you have to make sure no body saw you going prone then since you can't move swiftly you have concentrate more on your surroundings second you get prone where are tall grass so you don't have clear vision at all so you have to spot slightest pixel difference to spot enemy.

it wont, these pubg guides are only to win games, not to get good, there is a big diference between winning games on pubg and being good at pubg. winning games in pubg is really easy, you just gotta camp until the last second, and kill someone if they appear on your crosshair. thats all these pubg guides videos are for, to camp to get wins. if you really wanna get good at pubg you should watch shroud / grimmz / summit / tecnosh etc... they dont play for wins, only for kills and they are beasts. they lose more than 50% the games they make however they are the best pubg players in the world.

7:04 is the only point i'd disagree. when i've cleared a house, especially in squads we each take a corner and stay put. no movement at all and just peak around the windows. less chance an outside enemy team will here you and try to blast their way in. also gives you the element of surprise if they end up ignoring your house. cant tell you how many times i've been inside a house and been hit with grenade spam.

All of these points were quite obvious to me, and some of the things in this video are what caused me to win my 1st game over in PUBG. Yes, I won the first game I ever played at launch. However knowing the popularity of LevelCap, I know how to get around a lot of the tactics/tips shown ;) Don't take every tip as granted or that braking next to a building will lose you the game ;)

Yup, pretty much the first thing besides looting quickly that I worked on. Though from playing Rainbow 6 for years, I got it down pretty freakin' quickly. Although I still muck something from time to time because I move too quickly and overlook an enemy causing me to turn back around and most often than not resulting in my death.

3:32 Right there is why I ditch the shotgun for an SMG or AR at the first opportunity. Yeah they're great if you hit, but that's a way bigger "if" than most people would like to admit. If you miss, and you *will* miss, you are left utterly helpless, as seen there. With SMGs or ARs, you can recover from potatoing a bit if weird movement catches you off guard. The number of times I've heard teammates say "don't worry, I'm good with shotguns" and then the shotgun getting them killed immediately after is beyond count.

I know a lot of people say to keep one long range and one short range weapon (AR, shotgun) but I always seem to prefer using an AR in cqc. So I usually always go for an AR and SR combo. I feel like the shotguns are way to inconsistent in the game for me to bring out in those clutch indoor situations. I've shot people in the head point blank before and they haven't gone down. IDK if that person had like 1000 ping or what but it's still makes me wary of using them. If I want to get better at solo should I really force myself to get better with shotguns or is it really just personal preference?

I personally think SMG's are the best option for CQB, especially the UMP, Tommy gun and Vector with extended mag. I takes too long for an AR to ADS and they aren't too good for hipfiring like a SMG would. AR's are a good all round weapon and can be used in CQB, but you would have to be ADS'ing right on target for it to work consistently. If you get caught by suprise because someone was peeking the corner you weren't looking at, that's GG. Whilst with a SMG you could respond more quickly and possible hit them with hipfire. I agree with the fact that shotguns are too inconsitent to be a viable option. Sometimes it is possible to headshot someone 100 meters away with them and sometimes they can't hit the broad side of a barn up close.

Choco himself will always ditch a shotgun for a AR/Bolt Action SR combo. His idea is you don't want to carry a redundant weapon. Shotguns are inconsistent, but in buildings does anything make you more uncomfortable than going up against a dude with a shotty? How many times have you stepped into a one shot? In general though the only reason not to AR/SR combo is that you haven't found them yet. Shotties are everywhere. Even if you prefer AR for cqc it's not the worst thing to be able to switch to indoors. Worth getting good with them.

I think thats only worth to change the shotgun for a single shot SR (Kar98, M24 or AWM), otherwise just keep the shotgun/AR combo. But on the new map works a little bit different, cause the new pistol/shotgun, so there its pretty good to use a semi-auto SR, mainly SKS, cause it gets buffed

Shotguns are shitty in this game, especially the pump action shotgun. Before you reload for another shot you are dead. All rifles are much better CQB

Pretty much this - best combo seems to be an AR for short/mid-range engagements (as it's your short option too you generally want to have a full-auto option, so M4/Scar/AKM tend to be the better options), and SR for long range engagements, especially important at the end where it's more unusual than not that you can actually close to mid/short distance. Of course, in a pinch you can use an AR as your long range choice (and in such a case you can potentially use an SMG/shotgun as your short range choice), but that's not so much ideal as it is making the best of what's handed to you.

Decent video with some good strategy advice, but there was no commentary on third person looking when clearing/defending - which is a huge deal, given that it's almost surely the most widely played format, and is a fundamental difference from many fpsers that players are used to. I mean, it seems obvious - used third person view to see around corners and such without exposing your body - but comments like the best positions for this, especially when defending to allow yourself to see enemies and not let them see you, would've been useful.

What if they breach you, should you jump out a window and get them while they are watching the stairs, or stay and camp the stairs? I mean like the two story you defended at first. I always have trouble when I get breached in those building types, because like you said the stair rails eat up the shotgun shots, and if they have a smg I usually lose the fight because my ar can’t beat a smg. Essentially yes. As of right now there are not kill trades in the game. So the players damage gets taken back if they die almost simultaneously.

I personally think this should not be. I makes it feel like the other guy you just shot at before he hit you, is using hacks or something like that. It could be quite infuriating, but I could also see why they did implement this, as it could also happen in between the last 2 players, resulting in a tie, which is basically impossible.

At the beginning of a match , I was looting a house , I found a shotgun but no ammo and giving my limited experience I reckoned that someone had already entered the house . However I stayed as there was no other house to enter , went upstairs entered the first room and to my ‘surprise ‘ there was another player waiting with a shotgun , this player was actually worse than me , he fired off two rounds point blank at me as I stood there with my shotgun with no ammo . He actually did minimal damage , we then danced around the room , me in newbie mode attempting a melee with my empty shotgun to no avail .. I mean what else can you do . Laughably he didn’t reload ( perhaps he panicked, perhaps he didn’t know how to reload . He ran out of the room at which point I closed the door . I waited waited waited ... nothing . Couldn’t hear him . My only option was to jump out of the building from the first floor . Then there was a tiny single shed building , looted it and I now had an automatic pistol, the type you pickup but in my limited experience you never rely on or even use , except when you miss hit the controller . Then suddenly my friend was back , he took his shot from 30 metres away and I fired back a pistol I’d never used and got the kill instantly .. I had no meds no armour no helmet . It felt great .. a player truly worse than me .

Before they gave u the option to kill the car engine, i used to go full speed to a building with enemies inside and at the last second i e-brake sideways into the wall full speed (usually doesn’t hurt you if u e-brake) and i rush inside . The enemies always assume u crashed on accident and are caught off guard .
