Hi , I am from northeast and would love to share a few information about Northeast India. Northeast India comprise of 8 states and we have so many rappers,musicians,sportsman who are highly talented yet we ar never accepted but the mainstream India. Many of us would agree by listening to Northeast Cypher that there are many talented rappers in Northeast India at the same time it's also sad would be sad to know that many of the Northeast Indian rappers cant' make rap their sole profession and survive on it. In order to released their album many of them had to borrowed money and even though their work maybe critically accepted yet they don't get the chance to break into mainstream Bollywood music industry like many Indian rappers where many producers,brands are ready to poured in investment even before they published their album and if they managed to hit chord with the masses the music industry change their life overnight from rag to riches. The northeast Indians no matters how take red they are never get the kind of acceptance,respect and love from the mainstream Bollywood music industry hence many artist used to give up on their dreams even thought they're critically acclaimed. The reasons behind is the racial & bigotry that exist in the Indian society where Northeast Indians aren't perceived as Indian because of their race,traditions and cultures which is totally differ from rest of India. The silent racial discrimination and the bigotry that's prevalent in Indian society toward northeast people is the messages the "Northeast Cypher" wants to conveyed to the entire world.

North East is very unique region of India Here ppls are more comfortable with English than Hindi ...Mizoram , Nagaland have English as their first language ...Assam , Manipur , Arunachal & Meghalaya have it as 2nd Language ..Only Tripura & Sikkim use it as their 3rd Language ... People's here are mostly tribals means they belong to mongoloid family tree not from Indo Aryan group so you can find their eyes & look similar to East Asians & South East Asians .. Only Assam & Tripura have majority Indo Aryans but still both of them are very good in English compared to the rest of India Ppl here may add the religion factor since most of the tribal states are Christian majority but Assam , Tripura , Manipur & Sikkim are Hindu majority with Christian & Muslim minority but the level of English is same ... Here most of the students study in English Medium Schools instead of vernacular medium schools which is prevalent in the rest of India Love & wishes to both of you from Guwahati , Assam ❤️
