THANK YOU! I am also a second degree student, I'll finish my PN degree at 50, and RN at (hopefully) 51-52!! Going to specialize in Hospice, and open our own Hospice - it is GREAT to have your videos that are relatable. You are appreciated!

You were very fortunate. My preceptor clearly stated she did not want to be a preceptor and made sure I knew it! I had the worst time, and I was miserable. I will never forget how I was treated. :(
@LevelUpRN3 жыл бұрын
I am so, so sorry! That is awful. I hope that you can use that experience as motivation to help provide a positive experience for nursing students and new grads when you are preceptor one day.

@@LevelUpRN Hi , I want to say I enjoy your videos. I was an LPN and am a Registered Nurse for many years now. I have read many articles regarding nurse bullying and nurses eating their young. This is truly a horror and very discouraging that this issue is not addressed in nursing school. It's so hurtful and shameful , knowing that grown women and men who are supposed to care for the public behave like 7th graders. Nurses take the same state board . I am glad to see that you are a wonderful teacher and sincere. Keep making your videos they are amazing :) Thank you for all your efforts and kindness.

You say ask questions. Well before I dropped my nursing classes, my instructors would get aggravated when I would ask questions. It was discouraging.

It's their loss. They lost you and their attrition will suffer. It looks bad for them when reporting to the BRN for your state. I'm sure you were an amazing student. Their job, as instructors, is to clarify information for you. Unfortunately, there are a lot of hostile, rude professors. I'm lucky. My program is exceptionally diverse and my professors are always willing to answer questions. in fact, they love it when students want to clarify or even have a deeper understanding. I hope you apply again to other schools. :)

Hello Cathy, first i would like to say that i enjoyed your tips. Second I would like to say THANK YOU!!!!! I utilized most of your videos as an adjunct to my own study for the preparation of the ATI Comprehensive Predictor. I am happy to report that I PASSED with an 87.3%(99% probability). In my first semester of Med-Surge as a nursing student, I had my very first day on the floor and one of the very first patients i had required wound care, and you were very welcoming and supportive with me as a student. I am very appreciative of that experience as it was a formative event in my student nursing career and now I am graduating from the same school! Thanks again.

Thank you for the ATI level up card. I got an 80% on the ATI Comprehensive B test yesterday. In addition, practicing the Comp B questions online & doing Uworld Questions helped. However, the cards were magic.🙌🏾🙌🏾

@ShadowChibiz6 жыл бұрын
For the comprehensive, make sure you do all the practice questions and read all the rationales, and watch Cathy's videos to get more teaching about the subjects you are weak on. Also review your pre and post assignments. You got this!
@ShadowChibiz6 жыл бұрын
Yes! Do all the comprehensive practice questions and the questions in the quiz banks! The more questions you do the better. And whatever you don't understand study that and follow cathy's videos. That is what I did and got 84%

So sad to find out that you had to took down all your ATI videos. Let me guess, were those bastards from ATI suing you? Well, I can no longer watch your material because now is so broad that I don't see the point. Well, nothing lasts forever. Good luck with your new stuff and thanks for all the past help.
