It also talks about the price of a soul which Armin apparently thought after killing her in the manga. I'm not really sure about the soul part though. I took it from someone talking about how it was Armin in another comment section.

Armin also struggled with killing the MP more. If I remember properly, Eren never seemed remorseful for killing Frieda. Seeing the ocean was also originally Armin's dream. Eren even admits that he forgot it.
