One of the reasons why AOT is a masterpiece is that they were able to insert romance, but clearly described the line “There’s no time for love on the battlefield.” 😭 In other animes, they’d make a whole love interest arc where the arc is about fighting, but 50% of it is romance. I’m convinced that Levi and Hange have mutual feelings for each other with the famous “Shinzo Wo Sasageyo” and “I’d rather the two of us just live here, right Levi?” What a unique confession Isayama meant. LeviHan sailed for 2 mins, but it drowned through heat... AOT has the best and saddest romance ever 💔

I agree, every love interest can fall under the category of 'what might have been' or 'ended before it even started'. I love how much they kept it to themselves and focus on the priorities they have. I love and respect them wholeheartedly. 🙇✨
