They are not black Africans, they have lived there for several centuries and millennia, not all black people are African, they have their traditions and cultures totally different from ours, even their phenotype is different from ours, therefore their skull, body morphology, coloring or Their hair is different from ours, and black Asians, even worse, see from afar that they are of another race. We Africans have to stop wanting to appropriate other people's history and culture, reading the comments I see that there are many uninformed blacks and Africans thinking that all blacks are one people, that's how they think, that Indians and Polynesians or Chinese are one race, just because they all have tanned skin. the blackness of a Melanesian or Australian aborigine is different from the blackness of a Hindu, or any people from Asia and is different from the blackness of an African. only in Africa is the blackness of someone from the Sahel countries different from that of the people of southern Africa, this is how we distinguish the black people of the Sahel and Sudan from afar,

When you go to the Caribbeans and South America you see exactly the same people. You see different phenotypes, skin color and hair structure that are very similar to the Melanasian, Polonasian and other melanin people in the world. All this is due to interracial relationships with the many ethnicities that live there and inherited genetic mutations Africa is genetically the most diverse continent on Earth. All the different types of people who live there are reflected in the rest of the world. I recommend everyone to read these books: 1. When the world was black part one 2. They came before Colombus

@@masehoart7569 "Black" is a term created by Westerners and imposed on people of Africa. You're not doing the same thing by imposing these terms on Asians and Pacific Islanders and disregarding their heritage, culture and history. It's is sickening the way you say they faced the same injustices when the groups in the Pacific still form the majority of the islands they inhabit. BTW, all of the indigenous Asian and Pacific groups featured in this video are genetically closer to a light skinned Japanese person than to someone from Africa.

Remember these peoples are not African, nor lost Africans, etc. They are natives to other parts of the world. The phenotype you are discussing is found outside of Africa - and though it is the most emblematic of the African phenotypes due to racism - it is far from the only, or the first, or the purest. Therefore, it isn't appropriate to say that these people "look African" except in the commonest of the laymen's sense. They are natives of other parts of the world and have not lived in Africa for millennia.

what history or early europeans thought of polynesians and melanesians In Oceania, d’Urville identified two broad ‘varieties’ of people: Among the many varieties of the human species that live on the various islands of Oceania, all travellers, without exception, have reported two that differ very markedly from one another. Their many peculiar moral and physical features no doubt require us to regard them as two separate races (2003:164). He described Polynesians as people of average height, with relatively pale olive-yellow complexions, sleek hair usually brown or black, a fairly regular build and wellproportioned limbs … Moreover, this race displays almost as much variety as the white race of Europe, that Duméril called Caucasian and Bory de Saint-Vincent, Japhetic (ibid.).

How tongans and Samoans feel about fijians In Sāmoa, for example, black people (including Melanesians) are commonly referred to as mea uli. Uli is the word for “black,” and one of the most common meanings of mea is “thing.” Hence, one could argue that the use of the term mea uli (either consciously or unconsciously) strips the black person of his or her humanity and reduces him or her to a “thing”- mea uli.\ 7 In Tongan, a black person may be referred to as ‘uli‘uli (black) or, more rudely, me‘a ‘uli (black thing). As ‘uli is also the word for “dirty,” one wonders whether black people are considered dirty.

lastly this has always been the samoan attitude towards melanesians.. from then to this day! Latukefu wrote: The Tongans and Samoans had no doubt whatsoever of their physical, mental and cultural superiority to the Melanesians, an attitude that was reinforced by their role of ‘bringing light to the darkness of Melanesia’ (1978:98). He noted that Samoan missionaries found it most difficult to adjust, attributing this to the fact ‘that Samoans had (and still have) a tremendous pride in their culture, the fa‘a Samoa (Samoan tradition). Believing themselves to be the cream of the Pacific, they tended to look down on others, particularly the Papua New Guineans and Solomon Islanders’ (ibid.).

Interestingly enough, these people are not related to Africans and are the most distant population to Africans genetically. They split from East Asians roughly 36,000 years ago, from Europeans 54,000, and from Africans 80,000-250,000 years ago depending on the ethnic group. They retained the dark skin Ancestral Eurasians had when they left Africa. @@Komeshokakunanwene Tell me where in Africa did they come from? Tell me what African language family they are derived? The thing is we have ancient DNA and we have haplogroups that help map out human migration. If you use calculators like G25, Papuans harbor ancestry exclusively to East Asian samples such as the Tianyuan man, who comes from a population that is ancestral to East Asians, Papuans, and to a very small percent to Europeans. Then we have samples in Africa that are as old as 20 thousand years and all are greatly related to modern African hunter gatherers and later to the large Niger Congo peoples, showing continuity amongst ancient and modern Africans Then you look at both paternal and maternal haplogroups. In ancient Africa, they were somewhat maternally the same to modern Africans, with most of the samples carrying archaic lineages under the L macrohaplogroup. Their y-haplogroups were greatly different as they carried y-haplogroups that were greatly basal (A1, A00, B-M60, all of whom diverging from each other 100,000 years ago), which were later replaced by the more common and relatively younger haplogroup E1b1a (originating from East Africans) Compare that to Papuans who carry M and S y-haplogroups, of whom came from the y-haplogroup K, which is ancestral to the European haplogroups, R1b and R1a, and East Asian y-haplogroups O and N. Their relationship with Eurasians is even proven further within their Mitochondrial DNA (P, S, and O) descending to the ubiquitous Eurasian mitochondrial haplogroups M and N. Papuans are clearly related to Europeans and Asians more so to Africans, ancient to modern
