The blocks break instantaneously because, back in the day, our characters had no limbs or bodies; we were a series of entities with minds of infinite wisdom, resulting in a group whose forces were so powerful that blocks could be destroyed and conjured instantly. We were the omniscient gods of the map we dominated and constructed buildings to suit the lives of generations to come. Also known as Creative Mode.

LOL Me and a couple of my friends made a "Never ending Spleef Arena" It was from the top of the map to the bottom and it had multiple layers. When someone dropped the waited for the winner to win the he would drop down, and they continue playing. 'Twas indeed boss.

lol, I'm smart enough to know that spleef in silence would be a chore to watch. Jumpy music is what Spleef's all about! XD lol, I haven't played a game of spleef in ages. It's usually too laggy or is just way too small for a proper game to commence. A big arena like this one with numerous players was the most fun I ever had with spleef.

@csknives1985 Spleef is played on Creative Mode (which hasn't been updated in far too long) where blocks can be destroyed instantaneously. I imagine playing Spleef on Survival Mode just wouldn't work properly.

@that1guyunew Yeah, although, Survival Mode was intended to be a challenging mode, I can't really blame Notch too much when the game isn't out of beta yet! I do blame him, however, for focusing more on new stuff than fixing the bugs with the previous implementations that are broken! :P Anyway, I was happy to hear that Notch is now adding hunger (going more accurately with the concept of trying to stay alive than before) and updating Creative Mode, finally! My complaints are no longer vaild!

"Survival" suggests that you're fighting a constant battle to stay alive, but that scenario is quickly over as soon as you build your "house" (can simply be a 1x2x1 hole); you can hide in it forever and, therefore, beat the game in seconds!

You guys should try this game out with your friends, or make your own version of this game. Be creative!
