There is a create mod add on that makes it possible to turn flint into prismarine shards. Then there are data packs that let you turn prismarine into copper. If you want to do more than just recycle your flint.

Zed, your storage system is really interesting from a modeling point of view. Not only do you have material flow going in and out (which has a maximum if you only ever pull from the outer belt), the total amount of any given thing on the storage belt is related to the probability of that item being distributed by the gate thing. Very much a headache to make a math model for. Also I'm thinking the effect of having fewer open slots in the belt to take up items will be larger than anticipated. Not sure if there is a linear relation there, but Id guess its more likely exponential. Are you able to sense whats on the belt from below the belt? that would free up space and give you more room for machines. Also Also can your robot play drummer boy? :D

If you want to cut down on the lag produced by the Tonestas' drummer guy, you should set the bearings for his arms to "never place" the attached contraption. It reduces block and lighting updates slightly.

To slow down items further during blow-ing (because i had the same issue) i resorted to packed snow. It does let air through and slows items inside. Cobwebs worked also if i remember but they slow DRASTICALLY. (and were for my purposes too slow)

You should know that any create parts that deal with items will kill your framerate if used in very large quantities. Belts, chutes, funnels, depots, drains, etc. Also, water wheels.

Really this is the first time you have built a windmill in this series. I am surprised, after all the rotation based farm does work best when powered directly by a windmill, since that way it produces power as a byproduct of producing food rather than using power to make food. Nice to see you are making flint into gravel. I would reccomend the compressium mod for you it is one of my own must have mods and it just goes ahead and lets you take 9 of a common item like iron blocks, or cobblestone, or gravel, or sand, but unfortunitley not cobbled deepslate and stack it like ingots into blocks to get a compressed version, you can then take 9 of that compressed version and compress it againt to get a 2x compressed version, until you get to 10x compression or as I call it 140p block. Come to think of it apotheosis does let you turn flint into gravel. It might even use the same recipie. Unless I am thinking about quark.

flint in create can be used to make an andesite farm for alloy, combining it with lava. in a mixer. so the flint is not exactly useless, but i totally understand the sentiment.

As much as I love this mod and seeing Hermits playing it, when I see them doing so (and other projects, such as Grian's '... Life', the current 'Guess My Build', and others), I will confess I get kinda clued-in to the probability that they're getting bored with the current world and are looking to start again with a fresh seed :-/ Hopefully this is just a mid-season, post TwitchCon stall ...

Nah, season 10 is far from over. One thing a few Hermits (most recently Impulse) have said is that after some of them burned out on big projects last season, they're taking s10 at a slower pace and being more proactive at avoiding burnout. Sometimes this means stepping away from one thing they're working on to try something else for a short while, instead of pushing themselves to the point of burnout and then going on hiatus for far longer.
