The claim is that God never told Adam and Eve to keep the Sabbath and never intended for them or anyone else except the Jews to keep it until the Sabbath was done away with at the cross.

The Sabbath law was given through Moses as a sign to the people of Israel, there is no evidence that Abraham kept the Sabbath as such, remember he was called out of a pagan culture to begin the walk of faith. Sunday is not the Christian Sabbath, it is the first day of the week not the seventh. I do not see any compulsion for a Gentile follower of Jesus to keep the Sabbath. Colossians 2:16-17 and Hebrews 4; which points to the true meaning of Sabbath Rest.
