I need the power of the Holy Spirit to overcome the oppression of the enemy. I’ve been under major temptations (attacks) lately that can negatively affect my health and my close relationship with God. Please pray for me to have to power to fight whenever I’m attacks even on multiple occasions in a day. When tempted I cry out to God but a lil later there’s more and even stronger temptation - this is what’s been difficult. It’s like I’m under multiple attacks daily. Certain foods these days are not good for us but we are used to consuming them and this has been challenging for me. Please pray for me to press in harder to God when under temptations.I pray the enemy doesn’t win this battle. I pray the flesh becomes submissive to the Spirit in pure obedience‼️I don’t want to be put to shame but I want to be an effective witness for God. I need courage not to lose hope.

Is it okay to celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas? If so, which holidays are okay and why? I stopped celebrating most major holidays two years ago, because I believed I was doing something wrong in God’s eyes. My kids aren’t pleased. I just need to know and understand the truth. Here is what Pastor Paul just said today on his FB post: I have to confess that each year at this time I get a bit weary of all the questions about whether or not we should celebrate Christmas. Once and for all, we don’t celebrate holidays! We celebrate the MEANING of the holiday. And that means, I don’t celebrate Christmas - I celebrate THE BIRTH OF JESUS - the One Who, being in very nature God, did not consider His equality with God something to be demanded, but Who willingly emptied Himself, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. I celebrate the birth of the One Who humbled Himself and became obedient to death - even death on a cross! And I will continue to celebrate Him without apology because He is the One who saved me from my sin. May your own celebration be full of Jesus!
