Lew soloff! Legendary trumpet player. Very versatile. He could sit in any kind of style and make it sound believable. He had a great sound, lead chops for days, and a very imaginative approach to playing . I know he was a very sweet man too. He helped Jon Faddis a lot in the early stages of his career which we can all be thankful for.
