Your video is very good, however the wild Atlantic way is too commercialised now, about 20 years ago....it was truly wild and beautiful, and a heaven for free camping, and van life....now its cheaper to go the Europe for 2weeks all inclusive than travel southern Ireland for 5 days!!!....hope you enjoyed your trip around the west coast of Ireland 🇮🇪...I'm Irish by the way!

Beautiful. The first 300 kms of the WAW takes one thru' West Cork well worth the detour. I may be biased however as I grew up there.

I really enjoyed this and see your Landy has something that I’ve never see before. That’s a combination of the opening flap vents and the bonnet with the bump. Mine is a 2009 model 90 and while it has the bump for the 2,4 lt Ford motor, it does not have the opening flap vents. All the best from 🇿🇦

Good video. It is a beautiful route thru Ireland. I live there and it is not really very wild. You are always only a few miles from a town and somewhere to stay. Well worth the drive but not really a wilderness. Very much a managed landscape. I drive the route several times a year from Waterford to Donegal.

That’s maybe true. But from a Dutch perspective the cliffs and nature can look very wild 😜

I disagree. I'm from Ireland too and no matter what town you are in you are never far from wild nature. And no, the landscape is not a managed landscape. So much of it is very much unmanaged and there are so many examples of this - Connemara, thousands of acres of Killarney National Park, Glengarriff National Park, the Burren, the wild hills of Donegal, and so much more. Sounds like you need to get off your sofa and start exploring your own country because you are way off the mark in your perception of what it really is. But I do wish you well. ❤

Perfect video…so good everything!! The reporter is so good,no word to much,just her nice voice telling what and where! The tent,is so amazing! I envy them to be so young! I saw myself much younger walking around Bantry Bay,crookhaven….etc 36 years ago! Still going to my favorite country! Try to go there as often as possible! Slieve League is impressive. Did the road in VW hippie bus with left side steering from Denmark. Will never forget. Crawled to the edge on hands and knees. I asked a person on the way up if it was worth it - she affirmed and boy she was right.

OMG!! I live in Ireland 21 years now. The area around and the peninsula where the Sleeve League cliffs are is crazy wild. Is the best of Ireland. Went there many times and have very special memories. For me, travelling alone, is wild and deep as a mystical journey, there. The North of Ireland is fantastic and fortunately not heavily exploited as tourist destination.

9:18 Kylemore Abbey 9:40 Doolough Valley. 10:02 Dùn Briste 12:09 Pilgrim's Path at Sliabh Liag. 14:34 Bàd Eddie. Phenomenal footage, Sliabh Liag is stunning but Croaghaun cliffs on Achill Island are higher. If you return I'd highly recommend a visit to Inishbofin Island.

I imagine it would be pretty amazing as an American for me to visit and see such wonders and beauty but I can't help being even more amazed at the thought of being a dog and doing the same thing. Seeing the world through my nose and all the incredibly different and wide range of scents and smells that could be explored! A truly awesome video, thank you for sharing!

Definitely incredible! Although the US has such amazing places to visit. We are now figuring out and planning to do the pan American highway. Would be a dream for us bringing Lewie and the rover there. And yes, Lewie experiences it on such a different level. He especially loved getting all the attention all day 😂

Very much so. As I am always traveling with kids I prefer to know for sure exactly where I will camp at night, therefore I suppose I enjoy watching the adventures of those who can roam around with no real plan just that little extra. You really found some great spots along the way and of course no Irish camping story worth its salt would sound right or believable without at least one storm ⛈

You missed the most beautiful part of the Wild Atlantic Way , rather than going south, you went north, missing out on the beautiful Kerry, which also has the most beautiful cliffs in Ireland, Kerry Cliffs. Thank you both and give a hug to your doggie, love from Ireland xxx
