BBC. Please tell your audience to not clap after every dance move or high note sung, as this really spoils what we are not only seeing but trying to listen too! Does this happen when people go to the theatre?? Does the audience interupt whilst listening and watching Les Miserables??

Can BBC teaches its audience that is not ok clapping while the acting still on going?! Do this people don't understand that you need to get in a full state of mind to appreciate intensely the music and the dancing? Thus, this clapping doesn't help at all! It would way better without the noisy interference of the audience, they ruined everything!!

Guys, you realise the audience are fans of dance, or friends and family of those who do dance. They paid for a whole evening of dance from pros and non pros. Yes they get the added bonus of seeing Lewis perform but they are there first and foremost for the dance. It is exactly the same for any other performer that goes on for the results show. It is how strictly is done. By all means, I love Lewis and this song, but I also didn’t mind the cheering as I enjoyed the dance and it is the norm. No one kicks up this much fuss when it is any other guest singer. Any other show he performs on will have a quiet audience throughout so grow up and stop demanding the BBC change one small part of their long lived TV show just to please (in comparison) the minority of people, most of whom are probably only watching this because it is Lewis, and probably won’t watch another show. The only person allowed to complain is Lewis himself and that is only if he felt off-put by the audience and let’s be honest, he is a professional and can handle a bit of cheering. If you are so desperate to hear him sing that song without cheering, go watch of his many performances online and stop complaining
