I miss when we woud just talk about any random thing that came to our mind, I miss our times when we would just sit down and look at the sky, I miss when she woud be there when I need her the most. This song is very obviously about a relationship, but to me, it reminds me of my late uncle who passed away from cancer 2 years ago. For the 3 days after his surgery, we know there was a high chance of him not surviving. In my one hour commute to work for those 3 days, I'd listen to this song... "darling, nobody said this would last forever. I never said that we would die together". This to me was a reminder that people in our lives really don't stay with us forever, some die way too soon, and we're left behind. When I listen to this song, I'm taken back to those 3 days - hoping he would make it.

A misused word is 'love'. Love is one of the strongest feelings and one powerful word, but still people use it like it is nothing. Sometimes we just are interested in someone a little more than others. That is not love. Love is something very deep. You love a person that you feel connected to. That person supports you, understands you, helps you, makes you happy, you feel warm inside. And I get annoyed when I see people using love all the time. Liking soneone and loving someone are two very different things. I saddly had to learn all this with the hard way of loosing someone I thought I loved, but later realised that it was just an interest. I read a comment which explained why there is no forever, and I completely agree with them. Forever is another powerful word and we should not use it all the time. There is no such thing as forever. *Forever* is as long as we make it. So we should cherish the moments we have and most importantly *live*. Like they said: *I am here for a happy time, not a long one* and I am going to remember that until the day I die, so that I know I have lived a happy life, and not a long one. {If you are wondering who said this it's: Giana Duquette, she has a pink icon with a G as a profile picture :) }
