This is why I resonate with this song. Perfectly explains my sons mother and I when we were still together. Took over a year of constant love and hate that was too strong from both sides. We were literally crazy for each other. But now I look back and I have no idea why. She’s just not my type and I’m not hers. We’ve come to peace with that, and it’s still a bit rocky. But my son has both of his parents and we’re both mentally more fit to care for him.

Ashlee Hanscom Radio 1 don't like too many artists of a similar vain so instead they push the ones they already have more heavily. Artists like James Arthur and Sheeran will be the focus and there A list stays pretty much the same all year round. There DJ's also just aren't as clued in as they want to believe. It's almost insane of how much I relate to this song. I fell in love with my best friend. We loved eachother. But slowly I started losing him. Then he called it off. He doesn't want to date now but maybe sometime when we're both older and wiser. Just recently we started get close again. It's on and off but its still something to give me hope. But there's this other girl who makes him happy...just like I used to do. Our relationship is dying while theirs is blooming. It's killing me inside everyday. Update 2 years later: you guys were all so sweet in the comments thank you all. I’m proud to say that I’ve moved on and I found happiness again. Word of advice? It will get better.
