Back in 2020, before quarantine, I saved someone from suicide. She became my first love and we were strong as a couple. But in November, she broke up with me because life was starting to get out of hand on her end and she told me I was straining her because I was having a hard time in college. We both cried on the day she said she was breaking up with me. A few weeks later, she found someone else and now she's happy. She went from seeing me as her hero and first love to seeing me as only her friend and nothing more. I've never had an emotional scar this big before. If anyone sees this, you can reply or you can like. It doesn't matter. Edit: To everyone reading this, I appreciate all you have said, it's been three years now ever since I told you guys what happened...so here's the update. Still single, but I'm in a better place now, because I've been working on myself and I will continue to do that to be a better person. One day I will find someone who loves me for who I am, inside and out. But for now, I'll keep working on myself. Thank you again guys. To anyone else going through this situation, keep your heads up. My bedridden grandpa died a few weeks ago. He survived many difficulties. He is my hero.when he died i felt like part of my heart was ripped out and stomped on in the dust.He had covid, and, things were going the wrong way,but when i taped pictures to his window for encouragement, he got better.The love of his life(my great grandma) died from a heart attack when she was 56. I never got to meet her. His family dosent care about him.i always said "i love you! Bye! See you later!" But i never expected one of those to be my last goodbye.He never said I love you becasue his family didnt care. They cared about his brother. He lost a leg from falling in a driveway. I know that, when i have pain, i talk to grandpa,and be cheers me up.Now i dont have anyone to do that.Everyone was always giving me hugs and saying its ok,but its not. I was so close to grandpa. Like if you have felt this happen.When part of your soul and heart is ripped out and toorn apart.

I had a gf for two years and I was devastated when she broke up with me. It shattered my heart when I learned she was seeing someone not even a full week after we broke up. I’ve had a crush on this boy for 3ish years and we are pretty good friends, I tell him a lot and trust him. I wanna tell him I like him but I’m not sure if he likes me; it’s complicated. He’s shown a lot of signs and one day walked me to my class (passing his) after we were already late and we were just talking the whole time. He’s also helped me on math homework on multiple occasions and has even come to one of my birthday parties. But I’m not sure if he likes me because he technically “has a girlfriend” they were “dating” in elementary school and she moved to Australia (a diff country than us) and is moving back sometime this year or next year. This song hits so hard. This time last year I was dealing with suicidal thoughts real bad because bills , my girlfriend of 4 years left me for another man, I totalled my car in a roll over accident. And nobody was there nobody at all , but then I met Brianna Ladd. She made me feel alive for the very first time my entire life there wasn't even a drop of sadness or negative thoughts when I met her. We didn't have intentions of dating but that's the closest I'd ever felt to thinking I found my "soul mate. " I even thanked God with happy tears for allowing me to meet her because before hand I felt so awful and I thought it'd never get better. Well it did it was perfect with her, that is until May 25th , 2021 she died in car wreck a week after my birthday. Now I feel way worse than I did this time last year. And even though this time I have people here for me and trying to help me get better , I even started going to therapy and life hasn't had any issues at all but yet I'm still sad because now life has lost its beauty. The fun her and I had together is over. Life has lost meaning... I can't accept her dying I just can't my hearts too stubborn..

I know how that feels. My room is on the top floor and me and him always talked about us waiting till he could walk again (cancer took away a bunch of bone marrow from his legs) so he could see it for himself, next day he went non-responsive and lasted about a week after that before moving on. Don't take your loved ones for granted because there's going to be the one day where they won't be there.

Really reminds me of my previous relationship back in 2022 december, we both really liked each other , we were the exact same, I had helped her life get better and same the other way too. overall my life was pretty good at that time , had the good friends i needed , had her , studies were going really nice , used to be really creative......2 months later in february 2023 , she moved. I had her dc but she was never really online and our timezones didnt evne match. Now , its november of 2024 and I have lost all motivation , My life has been terrible , have almost no friends , single , hated for no reason..... This song just reminds me of when life was really good , and overall I just feel really sad litsening to this song as I barely even spent time with her when we were together , as I was too focused on my stuff and I really regret not spending the quality time with her. I just hope I find someone else who loved me the same way , and just wish on life to be better... dw , for those who are actually concerned Ill probably come from time edit the comment , and talk about how its going . but for now as of november 2024 im feeling soo empty , lonely , shit ... thank u if u read this far :)

This song helped me get through a real tough time. This girl I fell in love with, I thought she was gone for good. I went through so much to get a place and set a starting point for our life. This song I played over and over. I never gave up, until one night I got an email, she finally reached out to me. Her Step mother took her phone and any way of contacting anyone. Luckily she found a way to sneak her tablet. She even was forced to quit her job. Eventually one day she said F it and left, met me at work and came home with me. This was a little over a year ago, now we live in a different state, are very happily married and surrounded by her family.

Ok, so this might be just me but I do not call ANYONE my friend unless they have earned it. Cause some people meet people and after a week of hanging out say they are friends or best friends even. But i feel like most people don't actually know the meaning of 'friend'. A friend is someone who sticks around when things get sticky, loves you when you're a bitch, trusts you, treats you family, beats the shit out of people who look down on you or bully you, stands up for you, is there when no one is, can tell if you are broken, is therr with glue when you are, knows you...the real you, can keep any secret and not look at you differently. And yea, it may take a little while, but wouldn't you rather have a friend who will always be there for you no matter what than a "friend" that leaves you when you really need them? I think your answer is yes, cause I do. And I'm a very lonely person, I have lived most of my life like that, but that one friend, is always there.
