Back in 2020, before quarantine, I saved someone from suicide. She became my first love and we were strong as a couple. But in November, she broke up with me because life was starting to get out of hand on her end and she told me I was straining her because I was having a hard time in college. We both cried on the day she said she was breaking up with me. A few weeks later, she found someone else and now she's happy. She went from seeing me as her hero and first love to seeing me as only her friend and nothing more. I've never had an emotional scar this big before. If anyone sees this, you can reply or you can like. It doesn't matter. Edit: To everyone reading this, I appreciate all you have said, it's been three years now ever since I told you guys what happened...so here's the update. Still single, but I'm in a better place now, because I've been working on myself and I will continue to do that to be a better person. One day I will find someone who loves me for who I am, inside and out. But for now, I'll keep working on myself. Thank you again guys. To anyone else going through this situation, keep your heads up. My Mom passed away on 1/19/20. The full impact of that loss never hit all at one time. Kind of odd, I know, but it came in spurts, and still does after two years. I don't think you ever get over it, you just learn to enjoy the good memories that pop into your mind and let them override the bad memories.

I know how that feels. My room is on the top floor and me and him always talked about us waiting till he could walk again (cancer took away a bunch of bone marrow from his legs) so he could see it for himself, next day he went non-responsive and lasted about a week after that before moving on. Don't take your loved ones for granted because there's going to be the one day where they won't be there.

I was single for 30 years. Wasn't the type of a guy that would have a girlfriend if I don't really love her, and that wasn't fun, I remember sometimes I would see two couples walking holding hands and I'll feel joules, I'll think about it for days, my mom would ask me what is going on in your head, and I'll tell her, she always told me that I need to be patient, and wait, God is saving something beautiful for you. And after 30 years, when I wasn't even looking for someone, she asked me if I can be her valentine, I'm Egyptian, we normally don't do these things, so I asked her what that means, ( I'll explain it just in case you don't know) simply, when a valentine day comes, if there is two single people, they would spend it together not to feel alone, they would go out have dinner, have a drink, talk about anything, take a walk on the beach maybe, whatever they want, and at the end of the night, they will thank each other and go home. And I accepted the idea, met her after work, took her for dinner and a drink, then we walked for a while on the beach and then we sat down, and this is when she told me that she likes me, I was shocked, didn't know what to say, but she understood, Day after day after day I started to like her too, I I decided to give it a chance, I've been waiting for 30 years, anyway, we became a thing, spent the first month just meeting outside, until she offered me to move in with her, took me sometime to say yes, as it's considered a big step in a relationship, moved in with her and started a new life, became another person, felt things I've never feel before, we WERE together for 3 and half years, I went through some hard times financially , but she was there for me ,and then she quit her job because it was a toxic environment, we kept looking for another job for a year, and I was there for her, at the end, she got an offer in another country, we were so happy, the job was really good, and she really wanted it, I guess I never Thought that that job could be a reason to end us, the country she went to was not and eazy place for me to go, visa issues, so I kept trying for almost a year to go to her but I couldn't, and one day, she stopped responding to my messages, I called her but now answer, so I understood that she is gone and I Lost her, I kept trying to reach her for so long, but no response, what hurt me the most is that in my brain, I didn't believe that we broke up, I always felt that it's a phase that will pass by, you see, we didn't talk about ending it or breaking up, so neither my brain or heart was believing that it's happening, until I told my first love, My mother, she told me it wasn't ment to be longer, and it's okay, even when I told my mom that we have been together for more than 3 years, she simply replied by saying people get married and spend 20 and 30 years together then they get divorce, because that's how long it's was meant to be for them, she understood that I was hurting and she told me it will take time to heal, and I need to move on, and here I am, telling you guys my story, while I still think of movie nights in the bed having ice cream with her, making her tea every night before sleeping, listening to her sing while taking a shower, cooking with her, The lunchbox she used to make me why I'm doing night shift at work, doing home supplies shopping every month and fighting about what to buy, Man. It sucks 😞. But that is life. Anyway, I'm doing my driving license now, trying to move to a better place in my career. And in my life, decided to focus on myself for a while, to love myself more, I'm even getting myself gifts on my birthdays 😅. Wow, I'm relieved after writing all that. My bedridden grandpa died a few weeks ago. He survived many difficulties. He is my hero.when he died i felt like part of my heart was ripped out and stomped on in the dust.He had covid, and, things were going the wrong way,but when i taped pictures to his window for encouragement, he got better.The love of his life(my great grandma) died from a heart attack when she was 56. I never got to meet her. His family dosent care about him.i always said "i love you! Bye! See you later!" But i never expected one of those to be my last goodbye.He never said I love you becasue his family didnt care. They cared about his brother. He lost a leg from falling in a driveway. I know that, when i have pain, i talk to grandpa,and be cheers me up.Now i dont have anyone to do that.Everyone was always giving me hugs and saying its ok,but its not. I was so close to grandpa. Like if you have felt this happen.When part of your soul and heart is ripped out and toorn apart.

This song helped me get through a real tough time. This girl I fell in love with, I thought she was gone for good. I went through so much to get a place and set a starting point for our life. This song I played over and over. I never gave up, until one night I got an email, she finally reached out to me. Her Step mother took her phone and any way of contacting anyone. Luckily she found a way to sneak her tablet. She even was forced to quit her job. Eventually one day she said F it and left, met me at work and came home with me. I'm sorry for the ones who have lost someone.. i lost my cat due to something in her stomach that was stopping her from eating and we had to put her down, me and my cat had the best bond, every morning she would come into my room and onto my bed to wake me up and now i wake up and remember that I don't have her anymore.. and to those who had lost someone, stay strong, there will always be someone there for you!
