They're not friends, they're not enemies. They're competitors. And they're both great drivers. The (mostly british) media and some so called 'fans' have made it look like they are enemies. And of course the outcome of season '21 only made it worse. People tend to forget the positive interactions between them like shown in this video and focus on the negatives. Both drivers have left me speechless several times when I watched their performances on the track, when they've shown how incredible good they are. When you love the sport, you love them both.

Yeah hut thats also for the sports drama. Cause they’re laughing way more together behind the camera’s then in-front of it. We tend to forget that formula one is one of the few sports where team principals have a very famous and big personality. They have to represent their brand so ofcourse they’re gonna be fiers against their direct competitors. But if you have the opportunity to walk on the grid one time, you see that kost of them are like one big family cause they’re stuck with eachother for almost a whole year.

I find it crazy how people keep portraying these two incredible champions as "enemies", when they're really just competing and pushing each other on the limit every race. And when the media wanted to have beef between these two, Max would always be the one to suppress a majority of those dumb arguments. Of course he does. Max knows you gotta dig deeper when you're racing Lewis and Lewis does the same when racing Max, that's what makes them champions and that's what makes them special. You can't race Lewis or Max like you're racing Stroll or you'll lose. They both know that you gotta step up your game when you're racing a champion so that's what we see in races, and that's why they crash so much because its so close to the edge, sometimes it goes over. If I were a professional racing driver, I'd feel that this is the utmost respect that another driver can give to me, if you see them giving their all trying to beat me.
