When I started playing American Football our coach got us to do neck thickening exercises to help protect our neck when tackling. Within 3 weeks my collar went from a 15.5 to 18 😂 Turns out neck muscles are pretty responsive to being exercised. Haven’t played for decades now but I’m still at a size 17.
@DynamicUnreal8 ай бұрын
As someone suffering with neurological problems (likely because of the neck yet still unknown) make sure you don’t overdo neck exercises, and make sure you don’t do progressive overload. Isometric neck exercises are probably the best way to go. Every single signal that goes from your brain to your body and back goes through your neck. There are nerves in there that humans haven’t even begun to understand. Damaging those nerves, ligaments, arteries, etc. can make your life a nightmare. Stop bending your head down for hours and hours everyday just looking at your phone, trust me.

@user-jv7se6ft9t9 ай бұрын
Ok, I'll try to explain simple and without big math. There is two big things: gravity and kinetic energy. Human body is not solid, and is not a part of car. When you sit in the car - there's only one force applied to it - gravity. But when car starts to move - your body doesn't move as simple as a car underneath. The car itself creates a kinetic impact that is been delivered to your body. If it's a constant move in one direction - your body would deal with it pretty fast when all your blood and internal organs will receive this impact and respond to it. But, if direction is changing and you're wobbling around, it turns as an endless shock to your body.
@user-jv7se6ft9t9 ай бұрын
Even more simple: let's imagine the plate full of soup on the table. Plate is a car. Soup is a driver. When you start to drag the plate - soup wants to stay on it's place. If you start to drag to fast in one direction - soup will splash from other side of it. If you accelerate slowly, and then stop suddenly - soup will splash forward, continuing to move due to a preserved kinetic energy.
