He still did it. A 7 time champ couln't hold him back? And not to mention he was shunted out of two races in a row by Merc drivers when he would have easily won both. SO yea. Max took the win and the title in an inferior car against all odds. KARMA ;)

@@ivervj2923 I once read that it was not the accident but the time with Alonso in the team that broke him. He actually drove pretty well in 2010 an could have won Hockenheim. But I think that Hungary 2009 had a pretty decent (edit: not "decent" but "hard" or "harsh"; wrong word) effect on his performance. It was a pity to see him struggling.

Crazy to think about the conspiracies that went wild about Glock letting Hamilton through back then. Casuals never understood that being on slicks in the wet in an F1 car means you can lose as much as half minute per lap. In Belgium that year Nick Heidfeld got a podium by switching to the right tyres while everyone else stayed out- like this race. Still one of the most tense F1 deciders in recent memory, followed by Brazil 2012 IMO.
