So Ravs has a decent build the issue is his playstyle, he defaults to using the wand 90% of the time and saving the staff for healing most of the time. In those big encounters he should never be at 100% mana because that means you're wasting basically your builds best resource. If I remember correctly he has eternal fireball so it's not about resource saving either. Though these dungeons are exactly what blowing some of your spells is for.

Yer all sleeping on the Water buff. I've just about always got it up, even if I don't do it with meat, 'cause it's so useful for traversal and mining to have that extra stamina and stam regen.

This area is just bs, no balance at all. If you were a lone melee fighter, your just out of luck. They outrun, spawn erratically, and worst off all the way they attack. There is no timing it to get a opening or anything as they attack as quick as they can and do not sync up at all. The only way attacking like that is fair in a game is when there is friendly fire, here you might as well be punching a wave and trying to stay dry. I am sure many of the "hardcore souls players" will praise the difficulty, but they are most often just loud idiots who dont even know the difference between qol and difficulty, hell I have seen them flip out about devs changing a menu option so you could avoid a loading screen and they cried about how the game was ruined as that somehow made the game easier. I am all for a challenging game, but challenge centers on skill, not rng, and not on just being tedious and time consuming. Here what you need is the enemies to happen to sync up, and for the right enemies to be closest to pick them off.

@@WizBunny3 Thats such bs, these are the most progress feeling dungeons there are, they clearly were meant to be progression, but rather than balance them they were rebranded as bonus challenges.

I did this as a ranger with my bf who was a melee and we did it easily. there are also parts of it you can jump up to and just cheese the waves but yogscast guarantee

@@Hevensdragon we didnt cheese it as i said it was easy and there is /also/ the option of cheesing it if you're shit like the yogscast. But we didnt, and it was easy. we each got knocked once a piece. Literally if duncan just pulled the group for them, lewis could use bone arrows which Pierce. Osie could have a shield and sword instead of a 2h. The difficulty is also scaled per player on the server so Alone it would be Even Easier. it's literally 100% just a skill issue. (edit: to be clear im saying it's a yogscast skill issue haha im sure if you played this game yourself you'd also see it's really not hard. even finding the runes for the puzzles lol they barely pay attention to grappling spots.)
