They feel perfectly realistic as long as you drive as intended; but they also don't punish you for trying "alternative" options like the real life would. You don't need to be an expert to see that in F1 2018 you can drive over those big yellow curbs (a.k.a. sausages) literally every single time for the entire race and you'll be fine, while in real life they may even brake your suspension on first hit. Driving model (physics) is pretty good - that's what real drivers are talking about. Damage model however isn't, like in most other games.

It depends really because it looked to be a track specific improvement because of the long straights where the Ferrari can utilise their speed. The Merc was still faster in the corners. If Ferrari can do the same on tracks that don't have as long straights then yes they may have improved but that remains to be seen.

Good reference to see Renault vs Honda Power Unit....Lap 1 Verstappen VS Norris...both don’t have DRS... Norris did run it in deep so he was on the power earlier... but still a good reference

Keep in mind that McLaren's chassis is nowhere near Red Bull's though. Verstappen finished 5th only because he got lucky with the tyre strategy, starting 9th on hards. Honda was pretty crap in this race, maybe they're afraid of failures and they turned the power down.

Before all the comments come I just wanna say, I love racing and I love formula one. For the love of god, don’t give a penalty like this again. But also, for the sake of our community, can people stop bashing on Hamilton for nothing? He is BY FAR the best driver under pressure, and we have seen seb crack quite a few times. Anyway, cheers to the next one!

On the onboard recording, it is quite clear that Vettel is accelerating when Hamilton is on his side. Also, Vettel said "I didn't see him" on the radio, wich I find hard to believe. When you are an experienced top driver, and your nearest opponent is only a couple of seconds behind you, and you make an error like that, you know damn well where he is! Vettel was just desperate to find a valid excuse for not getting that penalty.
