Les inspired me when I was a kid with no father and a disabled mother. He was the first motivational speaker I was exposed to and I heard loud and clear I am better than my situation. Lewis and I were going through transformation at the same time. Lewis inspired me to get off the couch post sports injury and financial collapse in FL in 2008. Thank you Les Brown & Lewis Howes. Cheers, Rick

Les Brown has changed my life, literally and has set me on a path to literally change the world! When no one believed in me, this man did and he didn't even know it! I just publishes my first book about children in different familial situations. How to support them and love them regardless of their living situations! My BIG Blended Family by April Mata Lovato! It would have never happened had it not been for this man Les Brown! Thank you so much, someday I know I will be speaking with you!

The thing most lacking in our educational system is that it completely overlooks human psychology. It teaches us many things but it does not teach us how to be comfortable within our own skin. How to deal with our emotions, our fear, our anger, our depression. This is where school really falls short.

I’ve never done this before: I’m literally stopped on the side of a road here in Los Angeles posting a comment because of how inspired and impacted I am by this podcast episode. What inspired me to do so, was Les’s touching story of being with his mother at her last breath. This reminds me of my mother and how important she is in my life, but I don’t give her the time she deserves. I felt this sense of overwhelming guilt that made me burst into tears, knowing that she just wants me to stay in touch more often. I love her so much, and Les inspires me to be there for her more than I have. So thank you, Lewis, for having him on the show. I’m a big fan of yours, and now Les’s, and I plan on reading your book on The Masks of Masculinity. You’re amazing men, so thank you both for being all that you are and inspiring people like me to be their best.

Thank God for this man. I️ was on the verge of becoming one of these young men he spoke about. No purpose or meaning. Getting more excited for a sporting event than my own life. Entertainment driven. I️ have never been the same again. Becoming successful. Have meaning and purpose and new vision of myself. Starting to love myself more and more each day. Here’s a Les Brown original affirmation: every day and in every way I️ am getting better and better. I’ve listened and continue to listen to Les’s messages. I’ve started to memorize all his quotes and seminars. Voice of hope? It’s possible! It’s possible! It’s possible!

I JUST finished watching this. With a lot of your interviews, I'm only listening because I'm at work. THIS ONE I had to watch because I knew when I first got the new video alert that it was going to be something special. At two points when Les was talking about his mother, I actually teared up thinking about my own Mom. This video inspired me to call my Mom and talk to her a little longer than I usually do (she's 76). I decided tomorrow I'm going to get her a Hallmark card and send it via mail so she can have it in her hands. Just to thank her for the sacrifices she's made in her own life to take care of us. THAT ALONE...made this video a treasure. Thank you. Being 50 and hearing Les talk for some time now, I had to laugh when he brought up the "some people are so negative that if they were in a dark room they would develop" - then you could see that Les realized he was in a new era where many people have only know about cell phones taking photos. hahahaha! I feel like I just watched part of a legendary conversation that will replayed years from now. Yourself and Tom Bilyeu are now my 2 favorite interviewers. You guys ask great questions, show genuine interest, make your guests feel comfortable, don't interrupt them when they're getting a point across, and end the show perfectly. I had vision of you being the "Larry King" for this era. If you don't already do it, I would consider taking your show on the road. Have the SAME EXACT setup on a stage and interview some titans such as Les Brown, Denzel Washington, Brian Williams, etc. Heck... I'D pay to go to a show like that and see your interview live in my town. Thank you for another great interview Lewis. THIS ONE was very special :-)

As a black person I had a need to hear him speak about the limitations racism imposes because motivational speakers never do. No doubt this man would be so much more famous if he weren't black and still, as he seems to be preparing for the end in the best way possible, he shows the most inspiring way forward. Liked and subscribed!

The best speaker I know. He has something that others do not have. He has a greatness in himself as a man. His story inspired me to make many changes in my life. He has an amazing mission in his life that he follows. I could listen to him for hours. Thank you Lewis for this wonderful interview. Incredible that you were able to meet him personally. Congratulations! Greetings from Poland. Evelyn ^^

I love Les Brown since the first day I listened to him on KZbin casually. He's a tornado of love and hope and happiness. Only by listening to his voice I feel awake to life and connected to him. I'm glad to know that the amazing and contagious laugh I've been hearing all these past months is his. I'm grateful that God gave me the ability to understand English language so that I can dive in these motivational contents and change my life, in order to make a positive impact on the people that surround me!

He is a legend. A living statue to motivation. To say that he became the legend that he is based on hard work would be taking credit away from his natural talents. But, to say that he is a natural would be like disregarding all the hard work he put in order to become the legend that he is.

Thank you for such kind words Les, yesterday I gave an exam I didn't do well. I was very much depressed and felt helpless and now after waking up in the morning I listened to your interview and cried, I didn't know my goals a day before but now I think I have some sense of clarity, I know where to work at and I will make my dreams happen. Once again thanks a lot for such inspiring words.
