Thank you! I was first hesitant to release a video where I don‘t talk about the actual subject for the first 5 minutes but then I thought, what the hell… it seemed round for me this way. Glad to read that you liked it!

Cool feature, but I ran tests with an audio engineer and it seemed that with AURA engaged, the bass response suffered, almost akin to having a high-pass filter at 120Hz suddenly in the circuit. Also, after engaging AURA, the mic-pre needed more gain to produce equal loudness to when AURA was not switched on.

Thanks for the feedback, the first part I can't argue, as I certainly wasn't equipped to run pro-level tests, but when it comes to the second part, the magic distance is 30cm. In 30 cm distance it should not matter if you have AURA engaged or not, you would have the same levels. If you are closer than that however, and switch on AURA, it will lower your level so that it is the same as if you would be 30cm's away from it. (Similarly, if you try to switch on AURA while being further away then 30cm's, it will actually increase your level)

This is so impressive. I have Lewitt as "next mic to get" if the need arises in the future. Your demonstration was perfect. I do also hear the close proximity / broadcast depth still kicking in when you get really close - and that's what I'd definitely want, even if this mic is so different. Some things still needs to be "classic" sound you can always count on. Muting by distance is amazing haha! Oh, and the most important to me, I could also use it outside the frame that I always prefer. The price is great as well. Hm, about what you said regarding playing acoustic guitar, or basically any acoustic instrument into it... The "auto leveling" of the signal _will_ surely make a more even audio going into the mic and out to wherever we're sending it - but it will take away one of the most important aspects and that's the dynamics of playing, let's just point it out. Doesn't have to be a bad thing and every players needs are not the same, I'm just sayin'.. Anyway, great news about this microphone coming to the market! Cheers!

If you turn your chair so your mouth is not exactly facing the front of mic I'm assuming that it could not keep your voice level virtually the same?

The sensor still detects you distance as long as you are not moving to the side or behind the mic. It will do a respectable job keeping your levels.
