Gave my GF my mach 1 combo and she loves it. Think I might get her this one for her birthday for her second combo. Shes NEVER been fishing until she got with me and now she loves it lol. Best feeling in the world is teaching her how to cast and showing her what baits do what. Best sound I've heard is "Babe..babe...BABE!" Her excitement catching her first bass. Great memories.

Bought this combo, fished a popper at sunset and had a blow up, set the hook fought it a tiny bit, reeled it at the least 3 feet from the rod tip, boat flipped it, as I was doing that it shook and came off the treble hook ripped half of its face and the rod tip went with it.

I have the Mach 2 in green. I am hoping it goes well in saltwater as I use my reels for both and also take care of my gear. My model is the MH2-300A
