He’s truly refreshing to listen to. He’ has obviously come to terms with his life and put himself in a good perspective with his faith. I’m from Buffalo and saw a segment when he was on the news, he goes and helps people spiritually these days. You can tell Elizabeth’s death and his own hardships had an impact on him and some people come out of that for worse or don’t survive (like Elizabeth), he chose the path to try and come out a better positive person.

He played his heel character well and part of that was probably carrying that over with the other guys, but most people who didn't like him prob think he was a weak in ring worker and it's more the lesser guys who trash lex with a beer in their hand in these motel shoot interviews out of jealousy, because of his perceived working ability and the pushes he got. Brother Lex you have definitely been formed in the image of Christ. You took off the old man and put on the new. It's truly a blessing to see Christ in your life. I really mean that brother. You were the man during your prime in the ring, but now you're even more the man because you have Christ in your life. For anyone reading this post seek Christ while He may be found. I can't say that enough. Joshua 24:15 Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord. Fellas salvation is not solely works based. It is based on the grace of Christ dying on the cross for your sins. I have nothing to boast about because I was born in sin and shaped in iniquity. My good works are like filthy rags compared to Christ. I deserve hell and God's rath just like any other person because I have rejected Christ many times yet I'm still here. I'm in good health and I'm in my right mind because God had mercy on me many times, even though I have sinned against Him. Repent and put your trust in Christ because through Him you can overcome the temptations of the flesh. Since we are born in sin and shaped in iniquity we will still wrestle with sin, which is why you must put your full trust in Christ not yourself. Paul said that when you do good evil is always present. The exact verse is found in Romans. I will post it. I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. Romans 7:21 As I stated earlier, salvation is not based solely on works nor earned. It's by grace. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. Not of works lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 This is all out of respect for Miss Elizabeth because if she did not make it into Heaven I am almost positive she would want another opportunity to make things right. I know my post is long, but I'm using this opportunity to share the gospel with everyone that I will never meet. Just like Liz I could be dead and people will be reading about me. However, I still have the chance to serve Christ and do God's work. At this time I will take full advantage of that opportunity. When I first heard about what happened to Miss Elizabeth I really started seeking after Christ and finding ways to share the gospel with the lost. I will be real with you I hate a lot of things about the internet because Social media has a lot of toxic things. But the internet is a true blessing in other ways because I can witness to people that I will never meet. I watched WWE way back in the day and WCW during its last years so I had a very vague memory of you at that time and Liz had retired. I wish I followed y'all like I followed the rock, Big Show, Undertaker, Benoit, and etc; because I would have at least prayed for Miss Elizabeth's salvation had I really knew who she was back then. When I hear about stories like this I wish I had the gifts of the Apostle Paul or Peter to just raise someone up like they did when the dude fell out the window and died; or how Jesus raised Lazarus. However, that's not the case, and the gospel alone is enough. Neither Miracles nor raising the dead will draw people to Christ. With that being said, if Christians that were around Liz while she was still here took time to talk with her, share the gospel, and actually befriend her we would not be thinking about miracles or wandering whether she made it in the door after she left; because Christians would have done the work of Christ when she was alive like the jail chaplain did with Lex. I am not saying Liz died and went to hell because only God knows 100 percent. However, if you live in unrepentant sin/rebellion and die in unrepentant sin/rebellion you will rise in that same unrepentant sin. It's a very slight chance she may have repented while she had some consciousness on the way to the hospital in the ambulance, but I don't know. I know someone will say well Liz was a good person, but being a good person won't get you into heaven. Also she was good according to what the natural man considers good. Every person that does not commit heinous crimes and respects his fellow man or helps others in need is considered good, but since we are sinners "the heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked who can know it." Jeremiah 17:9 Also Romans 3:10 states; As it is written: there is no one righteous, not even one. And everyone who says they know Christ won't make it in the door either. Matthew 7:21 Not everyone who says to me Lord Lord shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of my Father in Heaven. As a believer in Christ I don't go hard enough to share the gospel with the lost, but this is an opportunity to do so right now. Again seek Christ while He may be found. Repent and believe the gospel of Jesus Christ. While you still have breath in your body you still have a chance, but when you die that's it. Hebrews 9:27 and it's appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment. God bless everybody who reads this post.

@@mk1r449 You're welcome brother. God bless you as well. I have to reach the lost souls as much as possible. I was a big fan of Chyna as well who also passed away from drug overdose. I had been under sound biblical teaching in the church for about a year before she had passed away. When she was going through her final years of life I had given my life to Christ and got baptized in April of 2015. I had been listening to Paul Washer and John MacArthur sermons daily, but I was still immature in the faith. When I first joined the church I am in now, I didn't want to fully let go of the desires of the flesh. Also I made academic achievement a big part of my life and I even wanted to attend Harvard after leaving community college. When I was in community college I had a 4.0 gpa. I excelled academically, but my ambition to succeed (need for self gratification) became so big in my life that I failed to witness to Chyna. While we should want to succeed in education, we should not allow it to cause us to neglect spending time with Christ and laying up treasures in heaven. I believe had I just took a few minutes away from studying to just share the gospel and give her words of encouragement she could have possibly been delivered. Scripture teaches Christians to be servants and put the needs of others before our own. Philippians 2:3-4 states Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceite, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interest of others. I learned that she had a KZbin channel, but for some reason I did not care to subscribe. Esteeming others better than myself would have been me putting my Spanish and Biology homework on hold for just a few minutes to help Chyna in her time of need.

I feel humility can be a cover for something ugly under the surface, but lex does seem very forward and candid with the interview and I'm sure his relationship with Jesus is the reason for the forth coming attitude and demeanor, may God bless you and your family lex you inspired me to work out as a little boy and a lot of my peers were scared of my muscles because at 9-10 years old I built my own workout station and was working out daily and probably all wrong with the technical side of it but LoL 😮I got results but anyways thanks from the childhood memories lex

I agree, I am always very skeptical of people with extreme humility or even people who are overly positive. In my experiences, it seems more often than not whenever I've gotten to known these types, it turned out to be front. It's as if they have trouble being honest with other people, or even themselves and need to sugar coat everything; feel an extreme need to be accepted by others; or as you said are simply covering an ugly side of their personality. But Lex has gone through a lot over the past 15-20 years, so perhaps it is genuine. I do think it was pretty obvious he was not being completely honest about Miss Elizabeth's death though.

I really respect how Lex admits that he was very egotistical early in his career. He seems truly grateful that Sting gave him another chance and they became lifelong friends. Lex may have matured later than most people but ultimately he became a real gentleman and a true Christian. Many people who were out of control in their 20s and 30s never find that internal peace and live a turbulent existence right up until the day they put them in the ground.

Lex should be in HOF he was at the top from the start of his career to the end. Whether people like it or not because of jealousy doesn't matter, he has went through good times snd terrible with everything that happened with Liz that was awful and it wasn't his fault everyone makes a choice and Elizabeth made her's. No disrespect to her but he took the blame for all that. Nobody makes you do drugs snd drink. Im glad Lex is smiling and just living the best life he can..

What a great interview. When Lex hit the scene in JCP and wanting to be an "associate" to the Horsemen, it was like, "Who is this Dude?...WOW!" The Total Package Lex Luger was a great heel and a solid Horsemen. I like the fact that he was put with Ric, Tully, and Arn, trained with them and lived the Horsemen lifestyle 24/7. If Vince wasn't such a jerk, Ole and Lex should have been inducted into the WWE HoF with the Horsemen as well.

Nice to see Lex is one of the few who admit taking steroids. Most pro wrestlers and football players used and use them but won't admit it. Steroids aren't dangerous unless your abusing them and overdosing. They were developed to treat muscle wasting conditions. Like alcohol, other drugs and even food- too much of anything is risky and dangerous.
