you're right about them growing up becaus filming the show took about 8 months so they had a growth sprout especially walker (percy) grew super tall !! btw episode 7 & 8 are so GOOD!

Lotus Casino was a completely different event in the book. The movie is a bit more "look alike" the book but without that "eating lotus" stuff. The place have a powerful mist and get molded at each one gusto. You see... I think they lost too much time in useless chatting. Besides, in the book the quest did not fail and about that I think the series are pushing too much to be different. The remarkable stuff about Riordan is the untiring sequence of events. True he did not loose much time describing stuffs but the series are making several important cuts at the described scenario to add charaters extra developments.
