Ok, so how bout this:
After obtaining the Gold/Premium cards, an absent silhouette of Lexaeus is present in the Twilight Town Room of Rewards. Within lies a flashy Lexaeus bossfight that requires you to have some Premium Cards for success. His HP bar is maxed. Perhaps the CP cost of the Gold/Plat cards are 1 CP in this imaginary Re:CoM FM
He does the huge meteor thing.
Within his deck are tons of 9's, 5's and 0's with 5 enemy cards:
Xemnas, Platinum, Zexion, Platinum, Vexen
Xemnas helps to get things started
Zexion is used when Lexaus is starting to deal more damage
Vexen as a last laugh
He uses the Platinum Cards after an unavoidable Meteor Ability triggered on a 1/3 HP threshold which on impact turns the floor to lava causing DoT damage. The first meteor doesn't do nearly as much damage true to his KH2 Mechanics; the second one is an instant kill.
Sora should try to use his own Platinum card on the second meteor to get an advantage of sorts.
Sora has access to some new duel abilities that deal a crapton of damage.

Each phase fits Lexaeus/Aeleus rather well. First one sounding rather noble, but still using booming percussion, just not as much instruments, a mix of Aeleus' role as a castle guard, and Lexaeus' use of Earth. Something more akin to an encounter theme or a main character theme for Aeleus. Second phase slowly picks up becoming louder and more chaotic, and the percussion ramps up. Gives me the feel of a earthquake ramping up in magnitude or a volcano getting closer to eruption. Final phase is much like your original. The use of percussion and the piano, how "violent" it feels (Not sure if it's the right word but IDK), really fits Lexaeus' anger to a T, as well as match his earth motif. A rather calm and tactical man, showing what power can do to someone.

I feel the Unknown Titan works best. Mostly because he used Earth attacks and in Final Fantasy if you want big earth damage than call 1-800 Titan and you'll get just that. Big damage across the board that is Earth elemental. Really makes you wish there was an Earth element in Kingdom Hearts which would also mean you being able to build up resistance to it like you would with Fire, Thunder, Blizzard, and Darkness. And I guess Aero too since KH3 added that to the element resistances as well.

Haven't played Re:CoM just seen a few bits here and there. Given your description, the meteor could be duel-able, possibly a zantetsuken like move where in a flash Sora cuts through Lexaeus when he is close to Sora after rushing back to the main area by meteor or a clash with sonic blade. Maybe something similar to KH2 Lexaeus does, right after Lexaeus uses a platinum card he gains an aura, lowering damage taken and vastly increasing recovery time after a card break and then does the smash that causes the DoT. This effect lasts for X card breaks and on the last break Sora "overpowers" Lexaeus removing the aura and clearing the floor DoT. For the second meteor it could be like a doom timer, he starts up his meteor by using the 2nd platinum card (gains aura, smashes the floor for the DoT) but if the aura isn't cleared before he jumps away for the 2nd meteor it won't be duel-able due to his still powered up state. Own platinum card could be a "get out of jail free" card, allowing Sora to still duel the powered up meteor due to a time slowing effect or something but it still being a lot more cards or lower time limit to win the duel than if he were powered down.

Oh man,I forgot about zantetsuken, yeah have like this tiny window of opportunity where if you get it just right you can avoid both meteors without the need of Platinum card. I like the idea of the DoT paired up with platinum effect. it gives you a bit of warning before the meteor and opportunity to waste cards in panic. perhaps the DoT is non-fatal and Lexaeus moves during this time can also be avoided with accurate dodge rolls or superglide. I haven't played the game in a bit either to be honest, the last time I was mucking about with bosswarp codes to fight Lexaeus as Sora hence one of the inspirations behind making this.

Its strange, the reason why I devoted so much time to this one piece is because its by far the most interesting thing I have ever heard imo. It was the Marluxia kh2fm data battle that did it, as a kid in NZ I couldn't believe my eyes when I found out there was more Marluxia stuff out there, then the rabbithole began that has lead to this remix. And much like Lord of the Castle made me cry often as a child, the 13th Reflection has consistently made me cathartically break down near the end in my adult life. @Roxbian I think the only difference between the OG releases and the HD ones are that OG is electronic and HD is live orchestra. But that one difference will inherently create differences between the tracks.

@@Roxbian nice little Final Fantasy reference. Titan is a summon that does Earth damage. Lexaeus is like you said, a towering behemoth of a man and he uses Earth magic being 1 of 2 characters in Kingdom Hearts who uses Earth magic.

I feel like he should take 80% less damage until the player shuffles but also deals 90% less damage. Every shuffle causes a dm attack that requires zeros or triple nines to break and reduce those numbers by half, and if you shuffle three times he’s taking and dealing double damage. Maybe if you get command grabbed he does that winds of anarchy attack that Marluxia does and scatters your cards, so you have to pick them up while he does his sky charge attack from Final Mix, and if you can break it you can go into a Riku-Styled duel to steal his power and get a temporary boost. Maybe his final attack would be a giant meteor that requires a bunch of zeroes or zansetsukens to break, then at the end he does that building cutting attack from Kingdom Hearts 2 and that ends the fight.

Holy shit, I really like that, just picturing the meteor being charged up while your cards are all on the floor and you are running around frantically picking them up in a panic while he's in the air. And if you just got nothing left just sit there and accept death XD

@@Roxbian Hell yeah bro. I always wondered why Chain of Memories Final Mix never got an actual postgame. I mean it has the organization cards and the two Super Cards, but other than that? Not really. No bosses harder than Marluxia or nothing. Game can be beaten on proud rather easily just doing blitz for 75% of the game and then Jaffar Ars Arcanum for the other 24% until Marluxia where you switch to just 0-9-9 physical combos for a free win. I would have loved fights built around you being level 99 and bosses with health bars so huge you have no choice but to either learn every single attack or carry around a bunch of megalixers to refresh your sleighted cards. Requiring full premium decks to reduce cost and shove as many cards as humanly possible into them. But nah, it never happened. This is a great song and allows me to come up with lots of ideas.

Man in the dimension I wish I lived in, they released a "Battle of Memory" game kinda like with Kairi's Melody of Memory that has data battles of all bosses (Heartless and Nobody) prior to KH3 but with Chain of memories mechanics. The bosses all have their updated kits as sleights with many more options. Its annoying because I much preferred the classic Kingdom Hearts Aesthetic and miss it dearly, KH4 looks too waay much like modern FFX that Disney almost feels out of place there. KH3 aesthetic is Borderline but only because I didn't see any of the Disney Villains actually fight. Mind you I have an elevator pitch ready for when my schizo delusions take me to japan eventually 🤣 @@birdofterror6628
