Don’t feel bad at all for moving back home. When I had my son in 2013, his father was an abusive pos and so we left when we was 3 weeks old into my parents. Then years later I met my daughters father. After verbal and emotional abuse from him for years (I really know how to pick them!!) I left him and moved in with them... again... with two kids. So I feel like a total loser and failure... I’m 39, with two kids living at my parents again!!!! But we had to get out of that toxic environment so I had to put my pride aside and do what’s best for them. Still sucks for me though... and remind yourself it’s only temporary so don’t be so hard on yourself.

Good for you for attacking your debt! I just moved in with my family with my husband and 18 month daughter to pay off our debt. And that’s super hard for me, to worry about my little family and family I grew up with. We can do it though! It will be worth it in the end when all that debt is gone and we’re free! Tyler Flynn just bc you got rear ended doesn’t mean you have to sue. Typically you’d only sue if you had extensive medical issues and missed work due to them and you can sue for loss of wages. But other than that, you usually don’t have grounds to sue. You can, you just won’t win.

Lex his insurance should of payed for your damage. I would definitely ask for advice from your new insurance on how to handle it and if you can still get it payed for. Also if he settled out of court that means your insurance must have paid him something to settle it and possibly said you were at fault. Otherwise it would of just been him dropping the case. All I know is if you get rear ended no matter what in my state the car that hit you is at fault and his insurance should have fixed your car. Idk about Texas Laws

@@LexiBabe23 okay well that is great for you then. You should still be able to get your damages payed for then! Most states give you 2 years to sue also if you need to for damages or if you had physical injuries. I would definitely get an estimate from a body shop then ask your current insurance what you need to do to get his insurance to pay. It should be relatively easy. You would also have the garage bill his insurance I believe. You shouldnt have to pay up front. Hope that helps. Just trying to help because I've been in your shoes before.
