It's so cool you have made it to all 7 wonders! I love how you showcased all of them while going to visit Chichen Itza too. Everything you did leading up to Chichen Itza itself looked so much fun too! Out of the seven so far, I have only been to the Colosseum, but I need to see the other ones someday! Great video Lexie!

Went to Chichen Itza when I was a teenager with my Dad. Back then we were still allowed to climb to the top. As an avid traveler who loves history, I went to a trip to SE Asia specifically to see Angkor Wat and Halong Bay. Next to check off my bucket list is a 5 week trip through Italy.

That is super cool! There are actually 8 Wonders of the World now. They added the magnificent Angkor Wat as in Cambodia as the 8th Wonder of the World. I wish the Egyptian pyramids and the Greek Parthenon remained as some of the Wonders of the world but they have been replaced.

I haven't visited every country in the world, but I have been to 166 countries. I've done all 7 modern wonders of the world too. "the modern wonders were voted on, I don't want to say certain countries stuffed the ballet box, but they may have voted for their home country attractions" Angkor Wat, is not on the list of 7, but in my view, it tops everyone of these. I would have also included the Shwedagon Pagoda in Myanmar.

This is the only wonder I’ve been to! In the middle of the summer and the middle of the day. HOT and crowded including the vendors. But was so cool!

You might have been cold and miserable at the great wall, but at least you didn't have thousands of people around trying to walk the same path. My experience was pretty crowded, but I have seen photo's of it worse than that. Love the video and thanks for sharing !

Chichen Itza is nice , I am glad you got to visit the 7 wonders of the world. I have visited chichen Itza and it is nice but the vendors were heavy. I preferred Uxmal, smaller site but more intimate. All the same way to go after your goals!

When you visit the Great Wall of China, go to the less touristy and renovated parts of the wall. I highly recommend hiking between Jinshanling and Simatai.

I think if I was to make a list, it would be a bit tweaked. But then, the list already had to be remade since some of the things are no longer in any condition to be seen. There's MANY things that are amazing to see in the world. Where do you start really? For instance, the Great Barrier Reef and the Aurora Borealis.

Pyramids (including the Great Pyramid) is now mentioned as a "honorary" monument in the last 7 wonders. So that makes a list of 8. The Great Pyramid was mentioned as a wonder in the original 7 wonders of the Ancient World which was mentioned around 1st Century BC. All other 6 all now destroyed (Hanging Gardens of Babylon, Temple of Artemis at Ephesus, Statue of Zeus at Olympia, Mausoleum at Halicarnassus, Colossus of Rhodes, and the Lighthouse of Alexandria where the the Citadel of Qaitbay is now located)

I am not too crazy about the new list of the 7 wonders of the world. I don't think Christ the redeemer, Taj Mahal and the great wall should belong. I would have kept the only remaining site of the 2nd century BC original list, the pyramid of Giza, and definitely add Angkor Wat, and maybe Borobodur (or Notre Dame).
