Hi Lexi, you introduce us to such an amazing range of products and always back it up with such fantastic insight and intelligence. I must admit I was transfixed by the Rituel eye soots you wore the other day and reviewed today. Those little eye pots are magical on you! How on earth do they swatch neutral leaning a tad warmer to cool lavender charcoal shimmering goodness?!? I absolutely love them on you and I do own the Phytosurgence which are wonderful too. The Rituel lip tints are also very beautiful and wearable. Thank you for all your hard work and congratulations on 9.9 soon to be 10k. No one deserves success and happiness more!! 🥰❤️👏

I’m glad they updated the packaging too. I wanted to get the RdF lip oils when they first came out with the lab access, but I think I will wait. Lexi you are forever my hero for indie & luxe reviews and swatches!! I literally just placed an order with Rituel de Fille-right now they have a fun promo! I got the brush and am really excited to see how it applies the eye soots. I’ve had the best success with a silicone tool but didn’t find it comfortable to glide across the lids 😂. Plus the brush is adorable. Amanda Z said the Sephora 18 brush works well but it’s close in price and less cute lol. I didn’t get the brush set because I thought the first shade would be more cool leaning than I prefer, and I have Golden Age which is a beautiful smokey bronze. But I love how the first two shades looked more nude pink. I probably would have gotten the set had I known 😂 And you’re right, the longevity isn’t the same and there can be creasing but I also think they are beautiful on the eyes. I got Incantation in my order and it’s a beautiful medium nude rose color on me 😊. Because I loved the aesthetic of the old jars I got one of the last ones available. They are definitely less functional but I like how cute they looked altogether. The gloss formulas are beautiful applied over the soots so I’d like to get some deeper shades too in the future like Serpent de Mer 😍 I just started using RDF last year but have come to really enjoy the colors and formulations. There aren’t many people who have reviewed the brand’s more recent releases including the brush so I’m so happy to hear your thoughts around them! I was eyeing the lip oils too but held back because I have some others to get thru still. Bloodthorn would have been my pick 🥰. This brand definitely has some magic to it and the best part has been getting shades that are just different than what else is out there. These have been some of my favorites: Solaris highlight: shifts red, super smooth and can be subtle or built up Incantation & Golden Age eye soots Scarabeus and Serpens eye gloss: can also be worn sheer or built up… such a beautiful sparkle on the lid Wasp cream blush - just a fun color/adjuster shade.. Bee Sting is on its way to me! And Chimera is the coolest color but I would wear it more on the eyes or lips than cheeks unless going to a party. I love that you can get sample sets with a $10 credit along with reward points. A very fun brand and one of the few I purchase directly from bc their customer service is amazing and they run fun promos throughout the year including items to test! xx

I actually just bought Solaris and one of the others! I haven't tried those yet but I have Icebow and it is a favorite of mine. I also really like the color nectar pigment balms I have so far. I think I need to try more of their products. Thank you so much for sharing your recs!

@@LexiJong of course! happy to share swatches too of what i have. you’re gonna love Solaris it’s such a nice shade. i just got Phosphene for the summer but am also eyeing Ghost Light ☺️. i like Ice Bow too, i thought it might be too icy for me but it’s actually a nice bright pop. I think getting the fun colors from this brand are the highlights but i’m also loving that what I have is very everyday wearable and not too much, even at the office. I just wore Half Light today with Serpens on top and that silvery LH Cosmetics eyeliner on my lower lashes and it made me think of Remembrance 😂. Serpens is very nice! Andromeda and Apis are next on my list for glosses. for anyone that doesn’t like the eye creasing, their face products are fantastic. i like that everything can be used anywhere too. i’m excited to mix colors together 🥰

Good morning Lexi! Decorte I hv makeup which performs beautifully. I never tried the foundation. Their powder is wonderful. Rituel de Fille I saw that they were changing packaging. I hv almost every one of the old packaging which is challenging. The new is on my radar. You look so fresh today and I especially love the eyes. Lots of newness oh my!👏👏🙂😍

I love many Ritual de Fille products and I'm a lip oil hoarder so I bought one during the tester launch but can't get past the herbal frankincense like scent/flavor. Their Eye Soots are beautiful, Serpent de Mar and Cultist are great options for anyone looking for cool toned shades, but my new favorite is Flora. I never had an issue with the old jars but I really like the new ones. I also bought 2 Crystalline Matter Eye Soots, Osmium and Moonstone, both of which are stunning! What I like most about RdF is that almost every new launch includes cool toned options for pale vampires like me that can't wear warm tones. It's frustrating when brands (most of them) release a new product with only one "universal" shade or multiple shades, all of which are warm toned; they may throw in a blue or green. Sorry, I'll get off my cool toned platform now 😂 Edit: the Eye Soots crease on me as well but I can almost eliminate that by applying them over a true eye primer, both the Hourglass Veil and Nars Pro Prime (clear) work great. I also mostly use them for one and done looks and I don't apply a lot of layers. They look best on me with a sheer to medium opacity

Hi Lexi! On my screen, the foundation looked too yellow once it oxidized. There was a notable shade difference with your neck. I purchased the Valentino LIGR2 (match with the concealer) during the sale and it does not oxidize to yellow/orange (even the Terracotta in 0C and 1C did on me). I highly recommend the Valentino, especially with the VIB discount. Thank you for featuring all the other items (love the eye look and your lip shade!).

Oh I really like those Bobbi Brown blushes! I wanted love Rituel de Fille and I bought a lot of things from them in the past but I don’t quite understand the hype. I decluttered most of them, I just don’t think they are for me. I like that they changed the packaging, the old one was terrible. However, if I want a creamy eyeshadow that creases, I just wear my Roen quads because in my opinion they are nicer, more sparkly and you get four shades for the price.

The foundation is pretty, Lexi, but I think it is a bit deep for you and does look a bit yellow or orange to me. Maybe in the summertime when you get a little sun? It worries me because you got a neutral shade. I always order cool so I may do that. But I really do NOT need another foundation. I just got the new DIOR. I’ve just talked myself out of it! So, out of curiosity, today, I am watching the blushes in my collection to see how close their shades are. Here is what I found: 1) The Bobbi Brown Brightening Coral Blush is very close to the Coral shade in the Tom Ford Sheer Cheek Duo pallet, 2) The Suqqu PCB#4 blush is very close to the Chanel Rose Polaire blush, 3) The Bobbi Brown Brightening Pink Blush is very close to the pink shade in the Sisley Orchidee (Rose) blush. The Hermes Poivre blush is less pigmented but its shade is sitting between the Rose and the Coral shades mentioned in 1) and 3) above, but has some orange reflection. The Valentino has a unique blue-purple reflection, which is a great blush topper. The Westman Atelier cream blush in Petal is more brownish, and the Cle de Peau cream blush in Rose is more rose than the above powder blushes. You have all of these blushes, could you do a swatch and compare them? Thanks

I bought 4 of the RDF lip products, and I like the idea of them and the shades, but the ginger smell is incredibly off putting to me. I find it overwhelming in the tube and that it really persists after application.
