The reason BlackPink doesn’t have a leader is because they all know their roles within the group and are willing to listen when the time comes. No ego issues. I feel the same with BabyMonster. I still would prefer Ruka as the leader because she’s so much older and has already demonstrated when to take the lead rather than just assuming the lead.

That song at the end... yes that was Babymonster. We hear all 5 vocalists in that part singing. And its not a cover, seems to be an original new (unreleased) song. Also pay attention to the lyrics... "my life is not a game", "don't break us up" ... :D My bet would be: Thats the first original Babymonster song and will be performed in full on May 12th for the announcement of the "final members" (which will be all 7). Sure, in theory... 5 members make a lot of sense and it would be possible that they debut a 5 vocalists group while the two rappers split apart as their own rap duo or transfer to the Blacklabel for their upcoming girl group. But then the vocal group wouldn't have the (Hip Hop) "YG Genes" anymore. So... OT7 debut... officially announced May 12th, full performance of that song (including a rap verse as well).

Chiquita's shrit in the dance performance was the same that Jennie used in DDU DU DDU DU in the dance breakdown. From what I heard the final song is an unreleased BABYMONSTER pre-debut song. Some OG YG Stans calls it the signal song for when they do these type of "Elimination" shows. They said that it is usually a hint on the debut line-up which you can hear all of the vocalists Haram, Pharita, Rora, Ahyeon, And Chiquita. That doesn't mean that that is the 5 they will debut because they would be missing their rap line, two of the best dancers in the group and Ruka with the most stage presence, I don''t think would be eliminated. We also know that the members would have been chosen last year when they concluded the last evaluation because they would need to be working on their debut song and video. I think that this plan has been in motion for a while since YG knew that the members are young and would get a lot of criticism about their age for them to debut. We ssaw it when it was announced and the biggest concern was Chiquita. After seeing the "Last Evaluation" most of that sentiment has changed to "please debut all 7" making YG the bad guy. I think that he was willing to take all of the hate for the girls, not to have their hard work go to waste. I think he also didn't want to delay their debut any longer since he felt that they were ready. I think that there was also leaks that happened before they started the "Last Evaluation" last year before anyone knew there was supposed to have trainees eliminated. Pharita's mom congratulated the 7 of them for making it. The 7 members were seen at the BLACKINK concert in Seoul. And at the Treasure concert the members were congratulaing the members for surviving. These were reports from people that have been following YG's new girl group before they knew they were named BABYMONSTER. So I would say that I feel 100% sure but seeing them appear a lot recently around the YG Building makes me feel confident that they will debut as 7.

It was BABYMONSTER's unreleased/untitled song, you can clearly hear the voices of Ahyeon, Chiquita, Pharita, Rora and Haram. And it is going to be all 7, they're all preparing for they debut they're all seen more or less on a regular bases going to and from YG building. Sometimes even just showing some of the members hanging out shopping and/or eating. Their friends and family members have been posting things with them too hinting at all 7 being Baemon, this was already filmed n done with almost 2 yrs ago. The announcement on May 12 which is a week away is surely their going to name all 7 as members and state their debut date too.

These girls are all so talented and they again showed how good they are (at such a young age). Even one more year since these videos is going to make them that much better. So happy 2NE1 got some props. The performance was A1 as always, these girls always slay. My favorite part of this episode was how Leejung was so emotional when complimenting them telling them to "Love Dance". Also how the gilrs showed their love for each other, strong sisters, reminds me of the Pinks. They love each other and will take care of each other. That song after the perfomance is them and they sound so beautiful. We all know that its gonna be 7. Can't wait for their debut May 12th. They are gonna blow up!!! #OT7

in my opinion. Project BABYMONSTER has 10 trainees. If counting from CHIQUITA who last joined the team in 2021. I still saw all 10 trainees in the early videos but 3 of them were blurred out. and finally all 3 was eliminated from this project. These 8 EP videos. YG wants us to see that all 7 members are good and get along so well that YG can't eliminate anyone. YG really aims at 5 members. But in the end, all 7 members will debut.

Here is my thought. They are world class talent n tats for sure. YG plan this group n want them be success like BP globally. As a marketing strategy, they need to have strong, huge, massive loyal fan-base if YG target globally. Since the first video they released, from live performance, introducing the members, playlists, behind the scenes, to evaluations, their videos are so precise and lead our emotions to the girls, and we become loyalty to BM. As you can see their IG n Utube officials, they have millions of viewers and most of them are from different countries. As a global project, introduce your group to the world and the response is astonishing. With that said, I dont see any reason why he will eliminate any of them. I would say, BM project is well-prepared, well-planned and this is what YG predicted as it is. To me, i still believe in OT7. Period !

That beat is from 2ne1~ Fire (2ne1 debut song from 2009) beat is similar to AIIYL because their producer Teddy park composed both hits, basically he is the main composer for most of 2ne1 and blackpink so you'll hear a lot of similar structures and layers to 2ne1 & Blackpink songs (and they're addictive as hell to this day) I recommend reacting to 2ne1~Fire, I am The Best, I Love You, Come Back Home... then you'll see the full pedigree of YG then to now through 2nd 3rd and 4th generation girl groups

I don't think it will only be 5 if you watch the teaser #2 there are some scenes they didn' t show until now. 1. the dance practice with Kiel Tutin 2. the scene where all 7 shown with mics in front of them 3. the last then in the trailer where you can see them crying and smiling and in the end of episode 8 you hear the 5 vocalists but in the short interview with them you can't see pharita but ruka and I don't think that YG will eliminate both rappers so there are lots of hints for ot7 but it still can be only 5 we have to wait and see

If the group won't really have 7 members, that doesn't mean that the remaining 2 won't debut, however they will debut in other times and ways and there are several theories that convince me. One thing I'm sure, YG won't let any of them go to other music companies, they will still stay in the orbit of YG, which may be THEBLACKLABEL as well!

You’re absolutely correct but I’d say it’s a bit of both. Ruka may not be the best choice to lead the group in building chords for example. Ahyeon took the reigns because she has an ear for it. She has natural leadership skills and knowledge as a vocalist. Then again it’s clear Leejung feels comfortable leaving Ruka in charge of choreography when she’s away. She’s strong in this area and has the most experience as a dancer.

Personally I think Ahyeon would make for the best leader. She has a great sense of everyone’s strengths and is quick to take charge and divide up parts. She’s a confident speaker and I can imagine her taking lead during interviews, management issues as you mentioned, acceptance speeches, and hyping the crowd on a global stage. In terms of skills she’s a well rounded ACE. Someone who can offer feedback in all areas. Though Ruka would be a great co-leader. If they debut at 7 it’s a large group. Even Ahyeon may need someone she can turn to for support at times and she’s the big sister. Her experience during dance heavy routines would also be invaluable.

Yup, after this last episode I already know it was 7 cuz YG insider giving clue. But I rewatch all the videos specially the teasers there are so many Easter eggs and everything make sense if you put two in two together. The biggest giveaway maybe is the dance practice with Keil which I personally know his a instructor for debut idol in YG. 🤭🤣
