Play the game, in the same way that you need to gain Starr drops. And of course, if you want choice what cosmetics you want, play the power league and push your trophies.

He just didn't got lucky and these aren't boxes. It's bonus rewards. You need to know that you have the trophy road, the Starr road, the Brawl Pass, the club league and power league ON TOP of these drops. They are not made to unlock brawlers, they are made to help you progress through the game

Its not for just getting brawlers, you can now easily get them by doing the pass for credits. Its the feeling of unboxing that we're looking for. I've been playing since late '17/early '18 and the feeling of a red number blinking at the end was godly. When I got a legendary (spike) I nearly jumped out of my chair. I don't hate the credit system now since its easier for progression, but I do miss the feeling of unboxing hundreds of boxes in a row

It's not the best way to get a brawler, but it is a great way for account progression and to get cosmetics in-game. So it took around 460 days worth of star drops to get a legendary brawler, which is more than a year. So they even brought back the same brawler drop rates from the original boxes where it could have taken a year or more for a person to get 1 legendary.

The brawler chances are lower than anything else because star road exists along with you using credits to get free brawlers so they didn't wanna increase chances even more your more likely to get pins and skins than a brawler but it's not impossible
