I watched this review a fair while back when I was looking for a decent priced Maxi. I've now spotted a 2022 bike with 1500 miles on it for £2200 so now i'm back to pay a little more attention before I commit to buy so, testride hopefully being good, I'll be on it this time next week!! This is why real rider/pro reviews are so important. Thank you for your good work.

I actually own the previous model, the chieftain! My first bike, second hand with 6000 miles on it. Changed some rollers, new belt, battery and exhaust. Got a max of 63mph on it. No problems so far from it and I use it every week to go to work. Just purchased an alarm for it and going to see if I can install it myself first as I do have experience tinkering on car electrics.

Great review, a good 5 to 6 minutes toward the end wittering about other things which suggests the bike was perfectly adequate and not problematic at all. I had my Vespa 300 Touring written off last month due to ice and a fractured pelvis, so considering one of these until I can afford something bigger. I had a Direct Bikes 125 10 years ago and the snobbery was quite telling, small Chinese bikes have come a long way, literally and metaphorically.

Got one of these, 2000 trouble free miles in all weather. Only get 82 mpg average a day 65 mph maximum speed although I've been told I can get more depending on height of cliff. I have ridden in 40+mph winds but that does need a spare pair of pants. One thing that's bad is it's hatred of ridges and ruts in the road surface. I do have the extra large topbox so carries all my weekly shop.

What is the tyre psi for the tires on this bike and the tires are weird on this bike I dont know if they are ment to deflate on there own or what but my ones I pump them up allot
