I've been thinking about buying the Isca now for a few weeks. I popped down to the Lexmoto dealer in Mold to see one in the flesh. Very nice indeed and really well finished. The plastics are of a high quality and the bike looked amazing. I'd be more than happy if it would cruise all day at around 55mph which from what I understand it would. I'm a 50 year guy with a full bike licence but haven't ridden a bike in years so this would be perfect for dipping my toes back into motorcycles. What sort of insurance would i be paying (with a clean licence) at my ripe old age. Keep up the great work buddy. Always enjoy your reviews 👍👍

Great video, I was looking at getting my first geared bike, something that'll do 60mph on my 20 miles daily work commute, nice to know after it's run in it should hit closer to the 70mph mark giving some head room. and I don't fancy spending loads on my first geared bike especially when this one looks like a nice tidy bike, ACF50 and maybe a change of sprockets later down the line. thanks for the video

I have had my isca for about 14 months now and it is a great bike BUT and its a big one the electrics on my bike (can't say its all isca's) have been and still is shockingly bad. First the ignition wires broke. Second the starter motor stopped working. Third was the indicator switch had corroded and was shorting. Forth was the main power wires broke. And finally (up to now) the wire that powers the backlight for the speedo is broke. Yes I have done over 10000 miles in just over a year but have looked after it and had regular servicing at my local dealership along with several new chains and sprockets. Overall its a nice bike to ride but with all the problems I have had I cannot recommend lexmoto and won't have another.

wow that sounds like a lot of wiring issues it is a shame they arnt usually that bad

Good review Chris. You have been criticized by another Lexmoto dealer for giving the bike a bit of a trashing during the running-in period. He states that you should not exceed 40mph for the first 500km and 50mph up to 1500km. I know there are different schools of thought about running a machine in and is it really necessary in this day and age. I ride a Honda SH300i and when I collected the bike, the dealer told me to avoid prolonged periods of full throttle ... and that was it. I know some people think it's good to give the engine a bit of load during the early stages as long as the oil is changed on time. I would be interested to hear your thought about running in.
@Ridingreviews4 жыл бұрын
Lol there is 0% chance of anyone doing the running in process like that the dealer who says that expects a potenchally new rider to put himself or herself in a potenchally dangerouse situation by going slower than the average flow of the traffic the running in process was manly for a 2 stroke as they are more suseptable to bore streaking and presure loss due the streaking a motorbike should use 75%of power for 300 miles and it doesnt matter about burst of full speed aslong as it isnt sustained for long periods of time i would imagine the dealer you are refuring to would probobly be a bit old schooli have pdied and tested must be 5000 bikes now and have never had an issue with my riding style and the longevity of an engine people will always criticise me it is part and parcel of being on youtube if you force people to ride in the way he is sujesting you will never sell bikes thanks for watching sorry for my rants

Owned this bike since July, fuel guage is terrible. 128mpg is a lie, can get 300 miles out of a tank if youre lucky, I refil every 180 miles which is 9 litres ish as the fuel guage says its 1 bar even though theres 7 litres left in it. Can't wait to get my A licence and get a branded bike, it's perfect for new riders though.

I usually drive a car but during lockdown boredom and due to the fact I’ve been on furlough for half a year now, I was thinking about getting a motorbike (as I have a license) and maybe doing a bit of food delivery driving. I know scooters are usually used but I was wondering if there was any way to attach a food delivery unit to the back of this bike?
@Ridingreviews3 жыл бұрын
sorry to hear about you being on furlough for 6 months you can put a delivery box on this usually the attach a piece of wood and then a large box
