I've bought one of these as my first bike to get some experience before I take my full test. Would you recommend these as they are quite large bikes which I like and it seems like the transition from this to say a 600 sports bike wouldn't be such a huge gap, riding wise and weight wise

Quick question, what's the deal with fitting a custom exhaust. Would there be any large difficulties or thing that need to be taken into consideration when installing an aftermarket slip on to this bike?

All you need is the exhaust and link pipe. But some exhausts don't like the lxr. Some people remove them and find the stock exhaust better. Due to better back pressure.

These LXR ‘s seem to becoming something of a cult bike for new young riders who are fans of the sport bike . I have noticed little ride out groups of them forming & some are covering substantial round distances in a day for a 125 cc .They are having lots of riding fun on these bikes & finding them reliable from some of the on board vids I have seen .Sports bikes are not my style of bike these days ,so not for me ,but I can see this new LXR appealing to the new young generation of riders & a big seller .No body used to criticise the Chinese bikes more than me ,& still do when I see a genuine reason .But you have to give credit where it’s due ,& acknowledge that the Chinese have upped their game considerably in the last few years .The big name 125 cc sports bikes are higher spec ,but in the real world not 2-3 grands worth more than bikes like the LXR 125 ..Even with the price increase they are still worth a punt .The other brands will rise in price, so the difference will still be similar to what it was .Good ride out & review Mr ReV Bomb enjoy your time off with Mrs ReV Bomb you have earned it 👍
