I mean the phone I'm using is a Samsung is that Chinese the way to the top is to start cheap buy cheap parts and sell cheep machine then when you get rich you buy better parts and build a better machine and then you eventually take over the market just like Samsung Lexmoto have sold more bikes than Honda Yamaha the last year the only thing I'm worried about with this bike mate is it only goes 68 miles an hour top end I mean on a scooter lovely on a motorbike with gears not so and it's a shame because that bike looks gorgeous I need to see if there is a 250 kit

Is that for insurance? That's very high. Most of the time with new bikes if the insurance company isn't up to date they will quote based on worst case scenario. I'd recommend trying Lexham or Bikesure as they keep up to date with our bikes.

Yes 100% just got rid of mine on a loss of £300 due to constant problems and overall its just a shit and cheap built bike with a premium tag.The price of the bike and parts for ktm duke 125 is absolutely ridiculous. My aprilia rs 125 is more reliable. I had done 2000 mile on it with 7 months of ownership. Never risen in the wet always dry stored and cleaned twice a week and it already started to go wrong fuel gauge not working , dash playing up , snapped bolts when not even at torque spec , leaking oil from left side crank case and more it was just little frustrating problems that shouldn't happen with a bike of that price.There customer service is the worst I have ever experienced once they have your cash they don't give a shit. It's my daily commuter and they had my bike for 2 weeks when it went in for the dash and they sent it back exactly the same as it went in nothing was fixed even though they said they had fitted a new dash at £230 complete BS. He also asked if I had wash the bike and then said that might be the problem ok so I bought a £4000 bike that can't be washed or risen in the wet due to its shit electrics. Awnser pretty much yeah. This was a official ktm dealer I could go on all day but I think I have made my point lol. I'll never touch anything ktm again in my life. KTM = KEEP TAKING MONEY

Hello, the LXR has a mass in running order weight of 167kg, this is an unladen vehicle but one which has all the fluids correct and present within. It includes fuel in the tank to a minimum of 90% full. We will make sure on our next walkaround to include the weight.

It puts out 9KW. so its not a fast bike however the engine has a balance shaft and a good gear box so it will do 65-70 smoothly anything past that and its starting to run out of power. Its a 125 with a Chinese engine, so it's probably best to manage expectations.

All manufactures make there 50 and 125 in China now but I would still pick a honda , yamaha, Kawasaki or even an aprillia over ones of these, mainly because the finish is alot better and won't end up in a pile of rust in two year. And the resale valve will be better with a honda, yamaha, aprillia.

They are not restricting anything its that power for 2 reasons 1 its a bike meant for a CBT rider a new/young person to get a grip on biking before they pass there test and 2 to keep the cost down on research and development, design, manufacturing, fuel, Tax, insurance. Sure the Honda can do 80 but for an extra £2000.... i don't feel that's worth it. If you really need to speed then you can change the front sprocket. simple.

I thought of that but its not so simple. see the Lexmoto 2 year warranty is backed up by the dealer. if i just buy one from the factory and ride it back sure its way cheaper but i lose dealer support. It will do 60-70 Mph no problem anything after that is pushing the gearing. If you need a higher top end you can replace the front sprocket. However this will decrease acceleration. Hope that helps.

You can ride it with just a CBT. It's a great starting point.

It's good practice man. No point learning on a 125 scooter for 2 years, then jumping on an R3. That's how people get killed. My first bike was an aprilia rs 125. Set me up perfectly. I dropped that aprilia a bunch of times. Lessons learned.

A liquid cooled 12 hp engine really whats the point or is it because it has to work twice as hard now lugging around with a rider and all those fiarings which in my opinion is to much. This should be advertised as a sporty looking commuter as it's definitely not a sports bike. Also what is it with most lexmoto owners they see the need to lie about specs I.g top speed , acceleration , mpg and I really don't see the point it makes them look daft as anyone who rides or has some knowledge will know straight away your talking wet but there choice lol. I would really consider this bike for commuting myself but when it comes to anything else it will bore you very quick as my first 125 did with me. And I see alot about price you can get a looked after yzfr125 2014 for around £2000 I'd choose that any day but that's my opinion. Also from the looks of thing these bike don't hold any value after a year or so.
