Years ago we used to run up Doran and down Odessa. The Gatekeeper was tough back then. Now with rains and wear and tear the Gatekeeper is very very difficult.

How does this do the way it’s setup in this video for daily driving? Highway/city mix? I’ve never rode in a Gx yet, but I’m thinking about getting one. Also besides obvious body differences what the difference between the gx470 vs gx460? I’m assuming the 460 has a 4.6L engine but that’s just a guess.

It's a Jack of all trades. Great on road and excellent offroad. Fuel economy is not the greatest but we know that going in. The 470 is a great vehicle and is very capable and reliable. The 460 takes those great qualities to the ext level in my opinion. Some differences include a more modern interface, timing chain instead of a timing belt, heated and ventilated seats, 6-speed transmission, more efficient and more powerful 4.6L engine, the ability to easily add crawl control and multi-terrain select, etc. Hope this helps. Jordan Wilbanks Only about 13-14mpg. I have sliders and roof rack as well, so more weight. Test drove both your options and both are great vehicles but the Lexus just felt more refined to me. Thanks for watching.

Lexus GX Life for sure, the refinement is why I like the Lexus too, and the V8 power, even if 0-60 times are roughly the same. I just feel like I’m getting more for my money with the Gx460.
