I am amazed at how you work with minimal instruments and very fluent in your explanations.

Great work Sir, although the correct order of operations is clean first, work second... it makes working on the car much nicer and less chance of contamination problems!

Invest in your tools to do the job quickly and correctly. You'll make your money quicker like that. When i came to Nigeria i was surprised most Nigerian mechanics don't invest in themselves.
@FASTECAUTOАй бұрын
When you come tho... you'll understand client mentality on car maintenance, original parts availabily competition in quality work to labour cost...and actual cost on tools here.

Do you not care to clean the engine bay and the engine before installing it back? Please that's the opportunity to stand out at what you do. Look at all the red earth pasted on every surface. You can definitely improve on that.

The first step would be to CLEAN the engine ( and the engine bay). This makes it easier to identify any existing and potential problems.

Not about the mileage... it about the car owner and the initial mechanic he was using..
@OriginalYTBRАй бұрын
It's not rare for lexus to have problems. As a lexus tech I completely disagree. I will agree it's the owners of these lexus products that have them maintained alot more than average. It's all about maintenance.

Hope the root cause of the blown head gasket was sorted. In most cases, it could be as simple as a radiator cap. Just ensure your get the exact size.

Thank you ... it was sorted... the fan was rotating in reverse... initial technician missed the wire polarity.

@tsholomothei3165 lol sounds clueless enough. Do you think the manufacturers assembled that engine block without one? This why you guys in nigeria can't do better. Without the right tourque spec it's going to result to a problem sooner or later , try to do better

Yeah right... but its an advantage having the tools , knowing how to use the tool is even better edge.
