I know this is an old video but by god I hope you can help me. I followed this video to setup my LED rear reflectors and it works 100% so thanks for that. Now I want to install a diffuser with the brake light but don't know how to wire it so that it lights up when I hit the brakes. Should you disconnect the battery before splicing these wires? And you just strip a mid point off and wrap the reflector wire around it?

Yea that's correct take your time because clips can brake.

Thank you from the uk!!! My rear left reflector has cracked some dude musta hit my car and drove away I’ve seen these reflectors on eBay for like £45! So I’m gonna get one. So it’s just remove those two caps, with the 10mm and then the bolt each side up on the corner? Then slowly pull the clips away god I hope I don’t break um! I’ll go mad ha ha But thanks !!! Honestly i think youll have to do both because there is bolts on the bottom off the bumper as well and you might break clips if you only do one side.. just play it safe and do both it will only take you 5min more.

Honestly there could be a problem with the lights.. friend of mine got the same lights and they wouldn't stay on only when he would brake so not sure what could be the issue🤔

I used some 1" self tap screws i had in my tool box.. there is just a bit of a gap not much did my best but i think its just the mold. You kno ebay stuff lol

No they are only on when the car has the lights on like normal rear lights and light up when you press the brake .... but you might be able to wire them like DRL's 🤔 but not 100% sure.

Got these used from a friend, after 2 hours installing, only 3 LEDS on both reflectors lit up instead of all the LED’s. (Saw then working on his car before taking off and putting them on mine) I left them on w/o wiring them up for about 2 weeks so maybe they were exposed to too much water or debris?? Guess I’ll just buy some lol thanks for the vid though
