Lexus top models are so extraordinary . Very nice, very nice materials, some special mechanics but it works and will keep on working for a long time. The 3.5 litre v6 is an engine with no more child diseases not the most modern but very reliable. The hybrid technology is also proven tech. But compared to some competitors not so exiting. Yeah in life you need to make choices.

They actually did this on purpose so the driver could orientate the gear selector to the angle they preferred.

I own the older SC 430 got invited by Lexus for an open day to look at these, tempted but in the current economic conditions unviable, but maybe in a year or two I'll be tempted for a pre owned one, gorgeous looking, delightful to drive.

Absolutely ADORE this car ! It's 200k€ in france tho... 140k for the car and 60k for the carbon tax... I'm also reminding you that it's an equivalent of 95k€ in the usa (after converting $ to €)...

​@@johnnypovdrives a Mégane rs gets 50k of carbon tax... Everything with a bigger engine than that will get the 60k... That's why almost every cars sold now are at least mild hybrid ! Like all the Renault or the Peugeot they're all hybrid now because for a normal car (Renault Kangoo extended version tce 130hp not hybrid) you get 5k of carbon tax and 5k of weight tax... (But yes this one is hybrid so it could be a w18 you wouldn't pay anything... Doesn't make sense... But I really don't like the fake 10 speeds transmission so for me this car it's V8 or nothing that's why I was speaking about carbon tax)
