Not necessary for an overland style vehicle! Having a ton of lights is only needed for Baja style trucks bombing down trails at 90 MPH.

This thing is probably over GVWR even before 4 people, water and food. Not docking Dissent or the owner since enforcement is non-existent in the states but will be very curious when this issue shows up in courts one day.
