I've driven our Lexus now for eighteen months, including a 2000+ mile trip around France and Spain. We both agree it is far and away the most reliable and comfortable car we've owned and a total pleasure to drive, as well as ticking the practical environmental box at the present level of technology. I've owned Mercs, Volvos, Jaguars and Range Rovers and none of them get close to the Lexus. Fuel consumption is acceptable at around 36+ mpg on average.

I m sorry that is not efficient My Kadjar 1.6 Diesel averages around 67 mpg on Long Trips being able to complete almost 840 miles with one Tank, meaning on the 2000 miles you would need to stop 2 times to refuel . Provided you started your Journey with a Full Tank of Diesel . Also Vehicle Dynamic is Catastrophic and worse I ve seen on Vehicle, 1740 kg (Van Weight 🤦🤷) And a Gutless petrol engine with 150lbs/ft of Torque . KADJAR 1400 kg + 226ft of Torque Which acts as If uphils don't exist

To the reviewer... Wake up and smell the roses. I have travelled extensively in a 2018 F Sport. Fantastic ambience, quality interior that's a pleasure to travel in. The stereo is a ten speaker Pioneer. The touch pad is fine... Why drive a bland Euro box diesel SUV that will develop multiple faults with a pitiful three year warranty when Lexus offer a ten year warranty and fifteen years on the Hybrid drive train... When you see these on the road they stand out and have something about them that sets them apart.... who cares about a few mpg......

Just a posh RAV4 with a worse infotainment system (I have test driven both). But it is a FULL HYBRID (not an EV) and no one is claiming any different. If people don’t know where the energy that drives their car ultimately comes from, then they deserve what they get. But comparing to diesels, which are being banned in metro areas around the world, is a nonsense. I wish both Toyota and Lexus would provide a PHEV option on these vehicles so you really could ‘Drive Electric’.

Have to agree for some reason there watching the boat sail away. All electric or nothing. I for one am tired of breathing polluted air from all things from oil. No is alive who can remember what it was like before the oil economy. Imagine breathing air like in the mountains sweet fresh alive only imagine it in the city's. New York in the 1600's was known for air the smelled like flowers, as one sailed in you knew your were close a day or two before arriving. Not anymore. Some days when arriving in Honolulu it can be like that. I am so hopeful for the possible future returning to paradise world wide. No more gas or diesel!! The time is now.

You got to give it to the marketing folk at Lexus/Toyota for flogging this as new tech that was introduced 16 years ago with the Prius. These things will be absolutely worthless in 5 years as they are less efficient and more complicated than a simpler smaller engined petrol car.
