You should've ceramic coated the headers prior to installing. No idea what size injectors those come with stock, but imagine you are now lean mid and upper range, I would tune it asap. Does sound good thu !

Very nice RCF. Congratulations !!!! Being a lot older (54 yrs old) and living in a "boche" neighborhood, I decided to keep my RCF a little bit quieter 😁😁 and I wanted a "deeper tone" vs the "raspy high pitch" most are looking for. I went with PPE header's with "glacier ice" ceramic coating and the APEXI full exhaust. I have the APEXI full exhaust on now, while I wait 6 more weeks for the header's to arrive, and I'm thrilled with the "deep tone" this system produces. Thanks for posting this video. I installed the full exhaust myself on the garage floor but after seeing what needs to be done to install headers, I think I'll pay my buddy to do it at his shop. That's a lot of shit to remove. I realize the install will probably be slightly different with thsse short PPE equal length headers vs the ARE long tube headers, but it looks like a lot of work. Definitely worth it though. Good luck!!!!

@@jakemarshh it truly is a wonderful car to drive. I've had faster cars and cars that handled a little better, but none were as nice to drive as the RC F. It just does everything well. It's comfortable to drive in for hours, handles great, and has plenty of power. Add the great looks and reliability and you can't ask for much more. The header's arrived a few weeks back but my buddy said "don't want to do the install" so I'll be doing it myself in my garage on the floor. I know it's going to be a bit rough and I figure it'll take me several days so I might wait until fall when I take it off the street and put it away for the winter. Can't drive a high HP, low, fat profile, summer tire, rear wheel drive, car here in Minnesota in the winter. So I may wait and do the install in late September or October. I wish you the best. Hope an RC F is in your future 👍👍.

No, you’ll get a check engine light but it doesn’t affect performance. You can get rid of the light with a tune

The header system goes all the way back to they mufflers as they provide a mid pipe as well. You can choose to have cats and resonators or anything in between. I decided to do no cats and no resonators on my setup.

SUPER dumb question since I see a lot of ya'll are from CA. How do you pass SMOG/emissions with a setup like this? I know where I am at they would fail you alone on removing the cats. I know CA is super strict with stuff so how does this even work there?
