By reading the Comments here and looking at number of dislikes, I would say that we are too tough on him. Guys he has just started his carrier. We shouldnt be so harsh on someone early in their carrier [As all our professional life depends upon the start] I would say his review is normal and nothing bad. Ofc you cant compare him with Matt because everyone has their own style!

"CVT transmission doesn't know which gear to shift". Well probably because in CVTs there's only one gear from 0-124 MPH. And the other to reverse. That's it.

I like this reviewer. He is different from the normal, overly manly, always oversteering car reviewer. Far too many reviewers try to be Chris Harris. There is only one Chris Harris. Carbuyer reviewers are much more representative of the car buying public. There will always be a place on KZbin for Chris Harris, but equally, there will always be a place for the everyman/everywoman reviewer too. Keep up the good work Carbuyer

i remembered the comments on the first few car reviews by Rebbecca Jackson on this channel long ago. mean viewers throw nasty & sexist comments, said that she was not suitable reviewing cars & was asked to go to the kitchen & make sandwiches... but after a while her reviews gets much better, & people started to acknowledge & accept her reviews. i myself was quite impressed to know that she can drive & compete in races with her porsche... when she left carbuyer, people started to miss her. get my point here?

I have no clue why there are so many dislikes (1.1k) as compared to 1.3k likes. It looks like politically motivated campaign of disliking this guy or this car channel. Who knows it is Car WoW or Matt! Logic is simple, Lexus cannot have these many dislike --- it is more reliable than any German brand and it does provide whole lot of style and luxury and not to mention; market value.

OK so about the car rather than the presenter.... Compared to some other more comprehensive reviews (EG by Savage Geese) I'd say that the CVT was not really explained well. It really could be a deal breaker for many people to have a cracking engine connected to a shocking gearbox/ lack of gears. Some like it as it is quiet at low revs but any hint of acceleration sounds like a motorboat..... :)
