19:10 is a bluff by mxsteve I believe, if he thinks you are betting an ace on the river its a perfect spot to raise puts you in a terrible spot, don't think he should be labelled a fun player he seems solid all round
@biggrigg13716 жыл бұрын
hey can anyone tell me what the quick way to calculate odds on turn and river? I remember lex saying its simple like on the turn its your outs x 2 + 2% = % to win and on river its your outs + 4% = % to win or somethings along those lines??
@MK-qz7fw6 жыл бұрын
On flop you multiply your outs by 4, on turn by 2. Example- 2 outs on flop 2x4 = 8%, 2 outs on turn 2x2= 4%.

Your 3bets pre-flop are HUGE! Is it to put more pressure, to have more fold-equity? Any other reason?

26:00 Why are you raising here? For value? It seems strange because he's going to fold almost always in that spot unless he checked the flop with J10, I don't understand why you don't just call and if bets the river you in turn get more value

Lex you were one of the best cash game players in the world, playing the highest staies, now your making highlight videos of playing heads up in a 3k guaranteed tournament, does that ever make u think going back to cash games might be the right move? I'm not talking shit I'm actually wondering because I'm thinking of switching back to cash as well

Nick L Wow that was extremely toxic and unwarranted to say against such a harmless comment....
@ihateeverything9566 жыл бұрын
Not only was your comment totally out of line, but by the words you chose you obviously have an IQ of about 10, my comment is not dumb at all, he obviously had a wayyyy bigger role back when he played cash gAmes, seeing how he was playing 150k buy ins, meanwhile my point was if he now has to play tournaments that are this small, that means he has no where near the role he did back then, so my question was why play tiny tournaments, or any tournaments overall for a living when he obviously makes no where near the amount now that he did with cash games or he would never ever be bothered with a tournament of this size, if your brain was not the size of an apple, you could of figured that out instead of talking shit

@@ihateeverything956 In streams from last years, Lex stated, that in those High Stakes games, he was using his whole bankroll just to sit at the table. So Imagine you have 200K in total and you use 200K to sit and play high stakes. Yeah, this strategy is not optimal. Lex was crazy back then. How he has bankroll management. If he has around 100K online, he can easily play high stakes online(215-2100$ buyins), and nor risk losing his bankroll quickly. In today's time going from tournaments to cash is not the best option, as most money online is in tournaments, plus the entry level is much lower than cash games.(skill wise). That's why you hear more news about guys like Fedor Holtz that crush tournaments, rather than cash game players that were very popular in the 2006-2012 period.
@ihateeverything9566 жыл бұрын
@@GTSilvano I agree with everything you said, but what I'm saying is he obviously does not have a 100k roll online, or he would not be playing 3k guarantee tournaments, therefore he must not be making anywhere near what he made in cash games, even if his entire roll was 200k back then, get what I'm saying

Got to love how lex hits final tables daily. Obv his run good down to the rng and is connection with stars. Can’t wait for the day when internet poker is brought to its knees cause it’s so obv corrupt. These scamming organisations need to be made accountable for their actions. No wonder states don’t want them

You could make a lot of money if you had any shred of evidence to back up your claims, but instead it's just an excuse as to why you you can't win at poker.
@sportsglobal95276 жыл бұрын
nardinit no it’s absolutely impossible to prove because no matter what you think a 52 card deck can be placed in any order a computer wants it to be placed in

Think about it this way. Pokerstars makes a shit ton more money if they are legit. They just raise the rake dude, it's not a scam.
@sportsglobal95276 жыл бұрын
Joe Pando I’m not saying it’s a scam. PokerStars have already admitted to producing action flops etc so go and argue with them all I’m saying is it’s pretty obvious that the rng is manipulated to produce action flops not necessary to favour one player but to push players from one tourney to the next. Iv been playing poker live for over twenty years but have never heard anyone say it’s rigged yet online there must be thousands who question the integrity of these sites. Yet the sites themselves know that although players might think it’s rigged it is next to impossible to prove.

For my answer I'll assume you mean dima13ogon. He raises UTG, gets called UTG+1, UTG+2 3bet jams 11BB, then the SB 4bet jams. What do you beat at that point? AJo is one of the weaker openings UTG so folding makes sense when you face a flat, 3bet and 4bet.
