It was too odd, too surreal. It mixed camp with very serious SF and that jut didn't click with the audience at the time, me included. Case of wrong time at the wrong place. I appreciate it a lot more now, decades later but that's precisely the problem.

I love this song. The lexx was always one of my favorite shows but this song it is haunting in a way I can not put to words. The power and feel of it is hard to put into words... even though it is a "made up language" you can still feel it, the passion the meaning... the defying hopeless odds knowing you are going to die but still going to battle... Call me insane if you want but this song makes me feel like the Story of Lexx is truly from real and from another universe!

@msnikish Actually it happened like this: A mate of mine and myself were playing League of Legends and suddenly we got the idea of listening to the Brunnen-G song while playing. Probably won't even have to tell you that it was epic shit. During the next several days (or even weeks), we kept singing the song in Mumble (our voice program) when my mate said something along the lines of "someone should make a 10 minutes remix of this so you don't have to restart the song on KZbin so many times."

@DurealFirali That's when I told him "dude... I'll do it". A few days passed and I noticed that KZbin increased the maximum video length to 15 minutes. Since the idea was to create a remix that plays as long as possible I went for the 15 minutes version. Yeah, kinda weird story but that was how this video came to existance :) A little nerdiness won't hurt you from time to time I guess, haha.
