This game is deeper than an ocean, just found out you craft bewitching branches to turn enemies against each other. Helpful against bosses that summon help like commander Nial and you can use crystal darts to turn automatons like stone giants and imps against each other.

Adventure’s Log (1st playthrough): I decided to just go up the dragon wing thinking the game would loop me back if the other area was important. Turns out I missed the lever for the big door, never went back, and missed half the city!

I've beat the game but not touched it since launch and never started ng+ . Does that mean I can buy the dlc and start it straight away?

Yes. FYI if you go into the DLC with NG+ it’s going to make it even more difficult, so if you don’t want that then don’t do NG+.
