The sequence at 46:28 is incredible. The gargoyle recovers just as the music starts to swell and combos his opponent to break his stance, and then finishes him off on the flashiest way possible, again in time with the soundtrack.

That's because the scripts do not know to fight against other NPCs. lol. Look at magma wrym. They can't dodge the lava. But there were early game NPCs fighting in the late game which should of happened.
